Lindsey Graham Calls for Putin to Be Assassinated

'Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Col. Stauffenberg in the Russian military?'

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday, Sen. Lindsey Graham urged somebody close to the Kremlin to betray Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Somebody in Russia has to step up to the plate,” Graham said.

“Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Col. Stauffenberg in the Russian military?” he continued, referring to Julius Caesar’s assassin and Adolf Hitler’s would-be assassin. “The only way that this ends, my friend, is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You’d be doing your country a great service and the world a great service.”

As reported by the far-left Daily Beast, Hannity, himself, had made a similar call the night before.

“Putin has gotta be stopped, by whatever means necessary, one way or another,” Hannity said.

“It’s a simple rule of life: If you invade an innocent country and you kill women and children and men, you forfeit your right to lead a country, and you forfeit your right to live,” he continued. “And I hope that people around Vladimir Putin—I hope they take action sooner than later.”

Republicans have been deeply split on the issue of Ukraine, with Hannity’s prime-time colleague Tucker Carlson projecting a much different stance by urging US disengagement in the conflict.

Sensationalist reporting from the warfront has helped stir the passions of many on the Right and Left into a frenzy as the fighting rages on.

However, many of the shocking stories have proven after the fact to be false or misleading propaganda.

It is unclear, for example, whether Putin truly did deploy a team of 400 mercenaries to hunt down Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as was recently reported.

Zelenskyy, a former comedian, has deftly played the public-relations game, stirring up patriotic sentiment in his own country and around the world for refusing to flee, while continuing to conduct interviews with people including fellow actor Sean Penn, Reuters and the CNN network.

In addition to Western leaders’ pressure, at least one Russian oligarch has reportedly put a $1 million bounty on Putin’s head.

It is unclear whether the calls from US public officials like Graham—a powerful senator with access to top intelligence as ranking minority member of the Senate Judiciary Committee—might further provoke Putin to take a more aggressive stance.

Already, he has threatened to elevate the matter to nuclear warfare over what, essentially, was NATO’s violation of a longstanding pledge to maintain neutrality in former Soviet countries bordering Russia.

Critics, however, argue that Putin already had designs on a grand scheme to re-form the USSR and saw US President Joe Biden’s weakness on the world state as a window of opportunity following the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Still, others speculate that Russia may be part of a coordinated plot to orchestrate a planned military conflict, helping globalist leaders like the World Economic Forum to further advance their agenda of a New World Order that would include biometric identification and Chinese-style social-credit scores.

While the US and Europe have yet to impose any energy-related sanctions on Russia and continues to use Russian oil to supply their own energy needs, oil future have skyrocketed on speculation that prices will continue to rise, inflicting even greater financial pain on America domestically that could drive a greater portion of the middle class into government-dependent destitution.
