(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Blue-check Grace Segers made an attempted slam at The Federalist for promoting Dollywood as an alternative to Disney Theme Parks, Twitchy reported.
After Disney came out as a pro-grooming company by denouncing the Florida’s inaccurately-dubbed “Don’t Say Gay” bill, The Federalist published an article recommending Dollywood as an alternative to the entertainment giant.
“Those in our group who had recently visited other large theme parks, including Disney World, said the rollercoaster and general park experience was much better at Dollywood.” the article read.
“It was less hectic, better organized, less spendy, and more wholesome.”
The article discussed how Dollywood was a quality theme park experience and does not mention LGBT issues at all.
Leftist reporter and blue-check Grace Segers decided to chip in with her wisdom, after very obviously not having read Florida’s Parental Rights bill or The Federalist article:
Cancel your Disney vacation and support *checks notes* proud queer icon and longtime supporter of LGBTQ rights Dolly Parton pic.twitter.com/3rUk3rlIzv

While it is true that singer Dolly Parton is an advocate for gay rights, The Federalist article does not mention that as an argument for Dollywood or against Disney.
Many on Twitter criticized Segers for this obvious mistake:
It’s weird you think the issue with Disney is about LGBTQ rights, when the problem is that they oppose anti-grooming measures.
Dolly would never promote inappropriate sexual topics with our children.

Honey, sit down before you hurt yourself.

But Dolly isn’t endorsing sexualizing prepubescent children in school and keeping it hidden from the parents, so it’s almost like that’s the problem

Guess you got so deep into listening to the propaganda about the bill that you didn’t read the bill and comprehend that it’s not actually homophobic. No worries, you are not alone in your willful ignorance
