(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Liberal activist and LGBT-rights crusader Rachel Maddow has decided to take a “hiatus” from her post at MSNBC‘s aptly named “The Rachel Maddow Show,” the Business Review reported.
Maddow, who makes a living by railing against the wealthy, recently signed a $30 million per year contract with the liberal network. But according to the cable TV star, her daily work has interfered with her desire to podcast and make movies.
Maddow’s upcoming movie about political bribery, which she is producing, is apparently directed by former movie star Ben Stiller.
Unfortunately, Maddow’s break from her evening raging will be temporary. She plans to continue her typical five nights per week load after her time off.
The source from NBC also suggested that Maddow would stay near the studio in case another instance of domestic terrorism arise.
The raging anchor has attracted unprecedented audiences over the past year, capturing the attention of nationwide audiences with her style of wild anger and righteous indignation.
She made major headway through her COVID fear-mongering, but she has practically made a career out of following former President Donald Trump.
Maddow has hosted the likes of self-proclaimed elites Mary Trump, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, and Brian Stelter, promoting their brands and selling their books. In fact, Maddow has practically become a TV book salesman for leftist elites.
“There isn’t any show on television that sells more books than Maddow,” said Keith Urbahn of the Javelin literacy agency. “She has the most engaged, book-buying audience bar none. Every time one of our authors has been on, she has shot the book to number one.”
“The Rachel Maddow Show” drew 2.7 million viewers in 2021.
Even more shockingly, Maddow remained near the top of the ratings among adults aged 25 to 54 for the 12th straight year.
Simultaneously airing is “Hannity” on Fox News, and until recently, Chris Cuomo on CNN.
