Kaepernick Blasted for Whining about Cornrows, Accusing His White Adoptive Parents of Racism

'My mom wouldn’t let me grow a mullet at 15… she must’ve hated me...'

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) Colin Kaepernick, a former NFL alleged quarterback who became infamous for hating the United States, the country that helped him flourish, showed his ingratitude toward his adoptive white parents by accusing them of racism.

Kaepernick joined CBS Mornings to pimp his comic book, Change the Game, and say that his adoptive mother had been “perpetuating racism” by opposing his desire to get his hair done in cornrows, according to the Daily Wire.

The comic book is about a young Kaepernick who is embracing his so-called “blackness” despite the so-called resistance from many people, including his adoptive parents.

“I know my parents love me, but there were still very problematic things that I went through,” he said. “I think it was important to show that, no, this can happen in your own home. And how we move forward collectively, addressing the racism that is being perpetuated.”

Kaepernick added that the reason why he wanted to have cornrows is because he idolized basketball player Allen Iverson, who “wore his blackness like a suit of armor.” His mother didn’t like the idea, saying the hairstyle would make him “look like a little thug.”

People criticized and mocked Kaepernick for another of his takes.

“My mom wouldn’t let me grow a mullet at 15… she must’ve hated me,” writer Rodney Muterspaw wrote.

Susan Bagwell, another writer, agreed.

“I’m thinking of all the white boys I knew in the 80s with long hair, and their white parents that were constantly screaming at them to get it cut.”

Obianuju Ekeocha, a pro-life activist, said that black African parents hate the hairstyle, too.

“Actually, black (particularly) African parents frown at their sons wearing cornrows and piercing their ears. They could even go as far as cutting your hair while you are asleep! Black parents often get their way, but skip over that let’s criticize white adoptive parents.”

Tim Kennedy, a UFC fighter, showed that Kaepernick just wants to make everything about race.

“I bleached my hair when I was in high school and my dad told me I look like an idiot. He told me that nobody would hire me. He told me that colleges would laugh at me during interviews. I guess he was just perpetuating racism and didn’t want the best for me.”
