Jane Fonda Claims All White Men Should Be Jailed, Blames for ‘Climate Crisis’

'It’s good for us all to realize there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism...'

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Actress Jane Fonda claimed that white men were responsible for the “climate crisis” and demanded their imprisonment.

According to the Daily Wire, Fonda made the statement on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

“Unfortunately, the people that have the least responsibility for it are hit the hardest,” Fonda said.

“Global South, people on islands, poor people of color—it is a tragedy that we have to absolutely stop,” she continued. “We have to arrest and jail those men—they’re all men.”

She also claimed that racism and climate change go hand in hand.

“It’s good for us all to realize there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism,” she said. “There would be no climate crisis if there was no patriarchy. A mindset that sees things in a hierarchical way. White men are the things that matter and then everything else [is] at the bottom.”

Fonda has a long history of making radical statements, such as calling Vietnam War POWs “hypocrites and liars.”

The two-time Oscar winner famously was dubbed “Hanoi Jane” after a 1972 visit in which she posed beside an anti-aircraft gun with members of the North Vietnamese Army.

Although Fonda’s acting career peaked in the 1970s, she has remained on the scene as an outspoken activist and is now attempting to revive her Hollywood career with a series of feel-good comedies featuring ensemble casts of female silver-screen relics.

However, her provocative off-screen remarks while promoting the films may once again prove an unwanted distraction.

During an appearance on The View in March, she endorsed the murder of pro-lifers and was forced to offer an apology.

Fonda also has been no stranger in the past to climate alarmism.

In 2019, during an interview with Viceland’s Michael Moynihan, she claimed that “climate criminals” deserve the same treatment as post-war Nazis, and should go through Nuremberg-style trials.

“It’s too late now for moderation… Our government is being ruled by fossil fuel,” she said. “That’s a fact that can be proven… I mean, [our politicians] should all be tried for crimes against humanity and nature.”

When asked who she would want to face trial, Fonda claimed that fossil-fuel executives and politicians who were bought off should stand trial.

Fonda’s latest movie, Book Club: The Next Chapter, has been critically panned and grossed only $23.5 million to date on a $20 million total production budget.
