Illegals Arrested for Burglarizing Texas Home, Stealing Guns and Ammunition

A group of illegal aliens broke into a Texas home near the southern border and stole firearms and ammunition, along with other items, according to immigration authorities.

Border agents in the region were called to the house in Sierra Blanca after being informed the residents had been burglarized.

When they arrived, they encountered three illegal aliens who possessed two loaded handguns, ammunition, food and clothing that had been stolen from the house, Customs and Border Protection said.

“Through extensive training, our Border Patrol Agents are always prepared and ready to respond to various scenarios,” said Sean L. McGoffin, Big Bend Sector chief patrol agent, in a statement. “Without hesitation, these agents responded to the ranch house and safely secured the location, the stolen weapons and the undocumented non-citizens.”

The three illegal aliens were taken into the custody of the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation, and to possibly be charged with trespassing and theft of property.

McGoffin said border officials were grateful the situation wasn’t worse.

“With the presence of weapons in the wrong hands, this situation could have turned violent; fortunately, our agents were able to control the encounter and bring it to a peaceful resolution,” he said.

Due to the Biden administration’s refusal to meaningfully address the ongoing immigration crisis, arrests along the southern border are the highest they have been in the past two decades, according to border officials.

Border agents have also reported that the behavior of immigrants has seen a rapid decline as Democrats’ rhetoric conveys to them a newfound sense of entitlement.

“These people now, they’re demanding, ‘You will feed me, you will give me water,’” observed Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe.

His office had recently received reports of illegals trashing fields, smashing water pipes, leaving faucets running and destroying fences, among other acts of vandalism.

“We’re starting to see more intentional damage,” said Coe, who spent 31 years as a Border Patrol agent.

“I’ve never seen it quite like this,” he added. “Somebody’s making a statement.”

Former president Donald Trump said during his visit to the border this week that the immigration crisis has turned the southern border into a dangerous place, slamming President Joe Biden for rolling back the immigration restrictions that made it secure.

“We had all these great polices going and they were ended. One day, they were all ended. This didn’t take place over three months or five months. This took place in the first week, they were ended. It was almost like they were ended because I did it,” he said.

“Now we have an open, really dangerous, border,” Trump added. “More dangerous than it’s ever been in the history of our country, and we better go back fast.”
