‘Five’ Co-Hosts Geraldo, Gutfeld Get Heated over Abortion

'You can disagree with that, but the problem with the pro-choicers is that they don’t have the balls to state their case plainly...'

(Alex Tien, Headline USA) Appearing on Fox News’s The Five, cohosts Greg Gutfeld and Geraldo Rivera got into a heated exchange about the recent Supreme Court leak and the pro-abortion movement, Breitbart reported.

Rivera came out against all of former President Donald Trump’s Supreme court nominees, accusing the three justices—Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett—of deliberately lying during their confirmation hearings, a process which Rivera said “is absolutely deeply flawed.”

A supporter of legal abortion, Rivera claimed that three justices “knew” that they would vote to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision, Rivera said, “and they lied about it.”

Rivera, whose  three daughters live in Ohio, said he was concerned about state’s Republican governor, Mike DeWine, having recently indicated that he would sign a bill banning abortions should the Supreme Court indeed strike down Roe.

“What am I going to tell my daughters now?” Rivera said. “That they don’t have control over their body? That they can’t make those choices for themselves?”

Gutfeld came back aggressively, going on an absolutely devastating rant toward the liberal Rivera.

“If you ask somebody why they’re pro-life, they will say, because abortion takes a life and we believe life is sacred,” Gutfeld said.

“You can disagree with that, but the problem with the pro-choicers [abortion supporters] is that they don’t have the balls to state their case plainly,” he added. “Just say, I prefer freedom over fetuses.”

Gutfeld also lamented how insane leftist abortion-backers have gotten over the past decade.

“They used to admit that abortion was an ugly thing. … But now, if you look anywhere on social media, it’s something to celebrate, to cherish, to shout.”

Rivera responded to that statement by calling it “baloney.”

Gutfeld fired back and told Rivera that “you’re making of fool of yourself.”

All Rivera could muster in respond was to feebly call Gutfeld an “insulting punk.”
