(Headline USA) Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., revealed this week that he sent a copy of the hard drive from Hunter Biden’s laptop to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y.
Along with the hard drive, Gaetz included a letter explaining that Nadler no longer has an excuse not to look at and investigate the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Gaetz successfully entered a copy of the laptop hard drive into the congressional record on Tuesday, following a heated exchange with the assistant director of the FBI’s Cyber Division, Bryan Vorndran.
Holding up the external hard drive, Gaetz said, “I seek unanimous consent to enter into the record of this committee the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which I’m in possession of.”
Nadler objected, claiming he needed to investigate the request before granting approval. He eventually relented.
But now, Nadler has the contents of the laptop at his disposal if he still wants to investigate them, Gaetz said.

During his exchange with Gaetz, Vorndran claimed the FBI’s Cyber Division had no information about the status of the copy of the laptop hard drive the FBI received in 2019. However, a report from the New York Times revealed that intelligence officials have been examining the laptop and its contents as part of the federal investigation into whether Hunter Biden committed tax fraud.
On Tuesday, Gaetz also introduced the “Spook Who Cried Wolf Resolution” that would remove the security clearances of the 51 former national security officials who signed an Oct. 19, 2020, open letter claiming that the publication of information from the Biden laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation.”
“Resolved, that it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the 51 signatories of the letter who publicly and falsely decried Hunter Biden’s laptop to be Russian disinformation should be barred from holding any level of security clearances indefinitely,” the resolution said.
