(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A feminist organization put together by the Australian government called “Women’s Network” had to remove their logo because of its resemblance to male genitalia, The Blue State Conservative reported.
Oh my… that’s awful and worse when you look again. How many eyes did this go through before approval? Jeesh. https://t.co/hWBa5Bkhez

Initially, many assumed the logo was fake, or perhaps an ill-advised joke. Others were angry because of the unnecessary controversy diverting attention away from the purpose of the organization.
The logo gets its oval shape from a series of logos produced by the Australian government.
All six of these look like they were added in a hurry as the election rears up. pic.twitter.com/q8Z5trVTZw

The addition of the ‘W’ obviously changed how people perceived it.
After receiving extreme mockery, the logo was removed.
“phallic appearance” ? I thought it looked like a sanitary pads😂

And were the fees paid to the graphic designer repaid by the government official who approved it !

So the Women’s Network logo has been, er… withdrawn. Good. #auspol pic.twitter.com/sCGsaA7YBH

This is not the first time the Australian government has released an attempt at wokeness gone wrong.
In a $3.7 million ad campaign, the Australian government tried to define consent by comparing it to milkshakes.
This campaign, not unlike the phallic Women’s Network logo, was scrapped and deemed a dangerous waste of money.
“News.com.au revealed that rape prevention campaigners have raised serious concerns over the Morrison government’s “confusing” new consent education campaign for schools featuring bizarre videos of a woman smearing a man’s face with a milkshake.”
