(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Four years after seizing it, the FBI has been ordered to return Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop—potentially containing numerous damning documents—to its rightful owner, Delaware computer repairman John Paul Mac Isaac, Just the News reported.
Mac Isaac took legal possession after Biden perplexingly abandoned the equipment at the Wilmington store, known as the Mac Shop, which he was forced to close indefinitely in 2020 following a firestorm of national attention.
Upon discovering what the hard drive contained, Mac Isaac contacted the FBI, but also made a copy for himself. When the agency demanded he hand it over and menacingly discouraged him from talking about it, he eventually reached out to Rudy Giuliani, who was working at the time as then-President Donald Trump’s private attorney.
As part of a legal blitz to deflect blame for his own criminal conduct, Hunter Biden has since sued both Giuliani and Mac Isaac, among others.
Mac Isaac also filed defamation lawsuits against Biden, Rep. Adam Schiff, Politico, CNN and others for making false claims about him.
As part of that ongoing case, working its way through the Superior Court of Delaware, he demanded his property back.
Mac Isaac, the owner of the computer shop, wrote up the subpoena with his team of lawyers, who said that they must have it back in order to defend him from the corporate media.
His lawyers demanded the return of “Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Computer (“MacBook”); Serial Number FVFXC2MMHV29 obtained from John Paul Mac Isaac via grand jury subpoena on December 9, 2019.”
Further, they requested that it be returned along with its “Western Digital (external hard drive) (‘External Hard Drive’); Serial Number WX21A19ATFF3 obtained from John Paul Mac Isaac via grand jury subpoena on December 9, 2019.”
The lawyers also requested that the FBI turn over “any and all documents and communications relating to the authentication” of the laptop and its original hard drive.
Mac Isaac’s case remains pending in Sussex County, Delaware.
Despite stacks of evidence to the contrary, the mainstream media has spent the better part of the past four years trying to undermine the authenticity of the laptop.
With their initial Russia-collusion conspiracy theory debunked, lawyers for the president’s son have since turned to denying the existence of the laptop altogether.
“This is not an admission by Plaintiff that John Paul Mac Isaac (or others) in fact possessed any particular laptop containing electronically stored data belonging to Plaintiff,” Biden’s lawyers wrote in a new lawsuit.
“Rather, Plaintiff simply acknowledges that at some point, Mac Isaac obtained electronically stored data, some of which belonged to Plaintiff.”
