Fauci Claims We Are in Phase 1 (of 5) in Pandemic

'The world needs to be prepared for the worst case scenario ... '

(Tony Sifert, HeadlineUSA) Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on screen (transcript) at the World Economic Forum’s digital Davos meeting to bash his fellow Americans for spreading COVID “disinformation,” and to declare that he has “no idea” when the pandemic will end.

“It is an open question as to whether or not Omicron is going to be the live virus vaccination that everyone is hoping for,” Fauci told the WEF.

Fauci argued that the world is still in the first of five phases in the life of a pandemic.

The first phase is “the truly pandemic phase where the whole world is really very negatively impacted (as we are right now),” Fauci said.

The other phases are, in order, deceleration, control, elimination, and eradication.

Eradication (smallpox) and elimination (polio) are “not gonna happen,” Fauci said.

The best that can be hoped for is “control” which means “you have it present, but it is present at a level that does not disrupt society.”

Fauci said that he hoped the Omicron variant is an example of this third phase, but argued “that would only be the case if we don’t get another variant that eludes the immune response to the prior variant.”

Other infectious disease experts agreed with Fauci, but were more certain that “Omicron will not be the last variant” and argued that “the world needs to be prepared for the worst case scenario.”

That is no doubt music to ears of the Davoisie. Hardly a speaker — from WEC Founder Klaus Schwab to Chinese Presdient Xi Jinping — has failed to mention how useful the pandemic has been in advancing the interests of the global elite as they seek to “revitalize the global economy.”

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel chimed in to complain about “all the misinformation that we are seeing,” but sounded particularly excited at the prospect of developing a doubtless expensive “single annual booster” that would include “corona, flu, and RSV.”
