(Headline USA) The Walt Disney Company announced this week that it will help leftists work to repeal an anti-grooming bill signed into law by Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The bill, which leftists have dishonestly dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, prevents educators from teaching K-3 graders about sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation. DeSantis praised the law as a way to make sure parents are involved in their students’ education.

In response, Disney, which is one of the largest corporations in the state of Florida, blasted the bill and said it “should never have been signed into law.”
“Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that,” Disney said on Monday.
“We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”

DeSantis, however, remained unmoved.
“The state of Florida is governed according to the interests of the people, not according to the political posturing of corporate executives in California,” he said in a statement. “We will never allow corporate influence to repeal the substantive rights of parents in our state.”
