Disney Plays Race Card to Promote New Star Wars Series

'If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist... '

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Disney and a compliant Left-wing media called Star Wars fans racists because of their criticism of a character in the new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series, which flopped in its premiere.

The new show by Disney centers on Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi trying to protect young Princess Leia from the Empire; after being roundly panned by viewers, Disney tried playing the race card to explain the poor reception and boost viewership, according to The Federalist.

In her interview with The Independent, which was released three days before the show’s premiere, Moses Ingram, an actress who played the criticized character of Reva, said that she was warned by Disney to be ready for the so-called racist attacks from fans.

Ingram also said that the director of the show did everything possible to put “proper systems in place” to save the crew from those attacks, which evidence suggests do not exist.

When it comes to Disney itself, the company tweeted on its Star Wars account that they will resist the fans who try to make Ingram feel “unwelcome,” which nobody has, other than noting her character is terrible.

“We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold,” the tweed stated. “If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist.”

Then, Disney told Ewan McGregor to record the video that could be summarized as “if you attack Moses, you are not a fan of the universe.” The company later posted it on their Star Wars Twitter account.

Even though there is no evidence of fans being racist, it didn’t stop the fake news media.

The collusion started with the likes of an article by the Washington Post, Trevor Noah’s comments and fake reviews of the show put up by bots or trolls, according to The Federalist.

Other outlets started to bully the fans, too. Well-known mainstream media such as NPR, The Week, Mother Jones, The Guardian, Wired and Screen Rant released articles in which they called fans racist for raising valid criticism of a character in their beloved universe.

Babylon Bee released its own article in response to the massive media gaslighting: “’I Wish They Had Made This Black Character More Interesting,’ Says Star Wars Fan Who Is Obviously A Racist,” the piece is headlined.
