(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A statewide North Carolina education program teaches disabled pre-schoolers Critical Race Theory, emphasizing the evils of whiteness and teaching them that “whiteness affects everything.”
Apparently lacking in confidence that older children or adults would accept CRT, the state’s bureaucracy has decided to target disabled three-year-olds.
The program has been pushed by the state’s Equity and Cultural Responsiveness program and is being challenged currently by the Education First Alliance (EFA), an organization that defends children from propaganda, reported the Daily Caller.
The “Equity and Cultural Responsiveness” program defines whiteness as how “customs, culture, and beliefs operate as the standard by which all other groups are compared,” culminating in a teaching of how to “deconstruct whiteness” by “challenging it.”
It also purports to teach the three-year-olds to develop their own view of racial justice, breaking free from the straight white patriarchy.
Students are to spend time “developing a personal vision for racial justice, and building skills to be accountable allies to people of color.”
Though CRT-based curricula have come under fire in recent years, the North Carolina curriculum seeks to propagandize the most vulnerable and youngest children, teaching them to define themselves by their race and preparing them for a future of advocating for race-based policies and laws.
According to EFA President Sloan Rachmuth, “with this vote, North Carolina’s schools became the most radically divisive education system in America.”
Rachmuth also emphasized the problems of preying on very young, disabled children.
“Yes, we are seeing critical race theory in schools elsewhere, but it’s mainly taught in the higher grades,” he said.
“But preying on disabled 3-year-old children – getting them to participate in a political movement, and to hate themselves based on skin color in the process, shows our public schools to be more morally corrupt than all others.”
