(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Scott Adams, creator of the comic strip “Dilbert,” has encouraged kids to organize a protest against mask mandates via Twitter.
Masks in schools will end when TikTok and Snapchat users organize a mask-free day. Kids, you have to do this one. #feb1

Responses to this initial tweet were mixed:
we had some activist teachers get 10-20 of our most toadying students to protest for more measures yesterday. (An impressive 60 kids out of 51,000 in the district). My son and his friends already don’t wear masks, so their noncompliance has already been noted all year.

Do you even know what’s going on? Schools are having multiple absences of both staff and children. It would be a million times worse without masks.

This tweet is part of a growing movement within schools to move away from masking.
The hashtag #Feb1WeAreDone has been trending, and it seems as if there will be multiple protests against school masking mandates on Feb. 1.
Masking mandates are still largely in effect in most states.
Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and Utah have banned mask mandates altogether.
Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, South Carolina and Tennessee have blocked, suspended or left masking mandates unenforced.
Sixteen states and Washington D.C. have required masks.
The other states of the union have made no official moves for or against masking mandates. The enforcement of masking has been wildly inconsistent across the country.
Left wing politicans have been spotted escaping to Florida without masks. Many venues and sports arenas are no longer requiring masks.
However, when it comes to masking in schools—where it is directly effecting children and their ability to learn—there has been consistent pressure to keep the masks on children.
