Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis trolled the Biden administration by signing a package of anti-COVID vaccine mandate bills in Brandon, Florida.
The name of the town is a reference to the viral “Let’s go Brandon” chant, a euphemism for “F*** Joe Biden.”
Did he? Oh yes he did.

The laws signed by DeSantis require employers to grant vaccination exemptions for health or religious concerns, pregnancy or anticipated future pregnancy, and past recovery from COVID-19.
“I look forward to signing legislation that will protect their jobs and the jobs of all Floridians who are facing unjust termination due to heavy-handed mandates,” DeSantis said.
After DeSantis signed the bills, chants of “Let’s go Brandon” broke out:

When asked whether he chose Brandon, Florida as the place to sign these bills deliberately, DeSantis played coy:
“I think Brandon, Florida is a great American city,” he replied.

This isn’t the first time DeSantis has used “Let’s go Brandon” to mock the Biden administration. Earlier this month, he dubbed it “the Brandon administration.”
“The significance of signing this legislation in Brandon, Florida, is not lost on the governor,” DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw said in a statement.
