(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) CatholicVote recently released a new political ad that criticized “Catholic” Democrats who have failed to take action after leftist-driven, domestic terrorism attacks on churches and crisis pregnancy centers.
“Radical liberals are behaving like terrorists, calling for a summer of rage,” the ad said, according to the Daily Wire.
The ad specifically referenced an act of vandalism at a Des Moines pregnancy care center and pointed out that Rep. Cindy Axne, D-Iowa, has done nothing to stop that, even though she could.
“The ad is part of a $2.5 to $3 million midterm campaign ad spend by the group that expects to target up to 15 House races and ‘several’ Senate races,” CatholicVote President Brian Burch said.
In comparison to past elections, the campaign speaks out against “Catholic” Democrats who are not consistent with their beliefs, implying that there were any beliefs to start.
The ad also said that, aside from Axne’s absence of action about recent attacks on pro-lifers, she also supported the Women’s Health Protection Act, a proposal that would allow killing a baby inside a womb up until the time of birth.
Axne is not the only self-proclaimed Catholic who has stood by while churches and crisis pregnancy centers are under attack. President Joe Biden supports abortion, too, even though he was raised as a Catholic.
On July 8, Biden signed an executive order that helps enable abortions. Even though the order cannot overturn the ruling of the Supreme Court, it includes other instructions, like ensuring that women can travel to different states to kill their babies.
Among many other faith leaders, Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities, criticized Biden.
“It is deeply disturbing and tragic that President Biden is choosing instead to use his power as president to promote and facilitate abortion in our country, seeking every possible avenue to deny unborn children their most basic human and civil right, the right to life,” Lori said in a statement.
“Rather than using the power of the executive branch to increase support and care to mothers and babies, the president’s executive order seeks only to facilitate the destruction of defenseless, voiceless human beings.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., also one of the self-proclaimed “Catholics” who support abortion, opposed the recent SCOTUS decision and avoided denouncing the attacks on crisis pregnancy centers.
