(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Canadian MP Ya’ara Saks, Liberal-York Centre, claimed during a speech in Parliament on Feb. 17 that the phrase “Honk Honk” is “an acronym for Heil Hitler.”

The phrase “honk honk” comes from a right-wing meme that claims the Woke, Neoliberal, and Globalist order has created a Clown World, in which all common sense, logic, and practicality have been discarded in favor of ideological doctrines.
When President Joe Biden, for example, hires a gender-fluid, cross-dressing, animal fetishist to serve as deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy, then the meme responds, “Honk honk. Put on your clown makeup.”
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau then gave the right-wing more ammunition with the “honk honk” meme when he outlawed honking in Ottawa to quell the protest.
One popular meme said, “The honking will continue until freedom improves.”
In the same speech, Saks somehow linked the Freedom Convoy‘s protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates to Nazis and Confederates, Breitbart reported.
Canadians (then British North Americans) opposed slavery and fought for the Union in the Civil War and opposed Hitler and fought for the Allies in World War Two.
“As a Jewish member of Parliament and a descendant of survivors of the Holocaust, as well, I, like many Canadians, was shocked to see Nazi and Confederate flags,” Saks said. “I was dismayed and angry and hurt, horribly hurt.”
Some reports have indicated a single Nazi flag at the protest, and one eyewitness said the protester carried the flag to remind Canadians about their trajectory toward dictatorship.

Saks indicated that a sinister Confederate-Nazi alliance truly motivates the Freedom Convoy—not an authentic opposition to forced medical treatment.
“This is about something much deeper and darker and uglier that is threatening the stability of this House, the work that we do as legislators each and every day for our constituents, and the democracy that we have to uphold,” she said.
