(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Throughout the Hunter Biden influence-peddling scandal, defenders of Joe Biden have continuously blasted Republicans for failing to provide evidence that the President directly benefited from his family’s scheme.
But on Friday, the House Oversight Committee released perhaps the strongest evidence to date. Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., released a check showing that Biden received a $200,000 check from his brother, James—on the exact same day as James received a $200,000 loan from a failing hospital-management company.
According to a personal check from James to Joe, the funds were a repayment of a loan the President made to his brother.

And according to Comer, the hospital management company—Americore Health—had loaned James the $200,000 because the bankrupt company thought the President’s brother could attract investments from the Middle East.
Though the James Biden loan and subsequent payment to his brother were in 2018—when Biden wasn’t in office—it nevertheless indicates that Joe participated and benefited directly from his family’s influence business.
Comer said he’s seeking more information about the matter.
“Does Joe have docs proving he leant such a large amount to his brother, and what were the terms? And did he know that the same day James wrote him a check, James had just received a loan from Americore?” Comer asked.
“Even if it’s a loan repayment, it’s still distressing that James’s ability to repay depended on shady dealings,” he added.
The check from James to Joe is the latest damning financial record about the family’s racket.
In May, the Oversight Committee released records revealing that more than 20 companies, 12 banks and nine Biden relatives were used in an alleged complex money-laundering scheme.
Perhaps the most shocking revelation from the May records was that one of Biden’s grandchildren was allegedly used in this scheme.
Comer said Friday that the “House Oversight will soon announce its next investigative actions.”
