The co-founder of BLM-LA has once again made it perfectly clear that the dangerous, extremist group hates law enforcement and views all police as lying racists, which is why everyone should believe Jussie Smollett’s outlandish tales of his alleged hate-crime ordeal.
Radical activist Dr. Melina Abdullah, director of BLM Grassroots and co-founder of BLM Los Angeles, said she considers the Smollett trial, which has headed into jury deliberations, as little more than a “white supremacist charade.”
As such, Abdullah proclaimed that the only reality that matters is that “we can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department over Jussie Smollett, a Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom.”
Yet Abdullah apparently has no regard for or belief in court testimony from two brothers, who are black, that they were hired by Smollett to stage the alleged attack.
That testimony runs counter to the BLM dictum that police are the enemy and should be defunded, even as a solid majority of Americans, including black Americans, think just the opposite.
Virulent hostility toward police, of course, is standard stock for Abdullah and the BLM mob, even when they aren’t using a hack activist actor like Smollett as fodder to feed their animus and distortions.
“My goal is not to make kinder slave-catchers,” Abdullah said, explaining why she refused to even talk with police, much less trust them.
“I believe in reimagining public safety. That’s an absence of police,” she said. “The roots of policing are in chattle slavery. They’ve been trained to see me and other black people with targets on our backs.”
Abdullah’s delusional racist paranoia hasn’t changed, and in Smollett’s defense she applied the same worn rhetoric to indict Chicago law enforcement.
“While policing at-large is an irredeemable institution,” she wrote, “CPD is notorious for its long and deep history of corruption, racism, and brutality.
“Chicago police consistently demonstrate that they are among the worst of the worst,” she added. “Police lie and Chicago police lie especially.”
So everyone, naturally, should just believe Smollett.
