Biden Uses Big Bird to Push COVID Jabs for Kids

'Big Bird isn't the only famous muppet being used to hustle vax shots on kids. The whole Sesame Street crew is part of the racket...'

President Joe Biden praised Sesame Street’s Big Bird after the fabled fowl announced on Twitter that he had received a COVID-19 shot and all his childhood vaccinations, MediaRightNews reported.

Biden’s Twitter staff used the 50-year-old television character to push COVID-19 shots on children, who can now receive them as young as five years old.

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, a Republican, tweeted, “Big Bird is a communist.”

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tx., also tweeted about the Big Bird’s vaccine-promotion campaign.

“Reporting you @POTUS for Covid misinformation,” Journalist Kyle Becker tweeted at the president’s account.

“As even your @CDCDirector tried to tell you, these ‘vaccines’ don’t significantly stop transmission,” Becker continued.

Biden’s claim, which aligns with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that childhood vaccination against COVID-19 will prevent transmission does not match results from several scientific studies.

These studies have shown that the COVID-19 shot does not prevent transmission but does prevent serious illness and hospitalization in many cases, Bloomberg reported.

Researchers said that COVID-19 shots protect the people who receive them, not the community as a whole.

“Our findings show that vaccination alone is not enough to prevent people from being infected with the delta variant and spreading it in household settings,” said Ajit Lalvani, a professor of infectious diseases at Imperial College London. “The ongoing transmission we are seeing between vaccinated people makes it essential for unvaccinated people to get vaccinated to protect themselves.”

Yet, the CDC stuck with Biden’s misrepresentation.

“Vaccinating children can help protect family members, including siblings who are not eligible for vaccination and family members who may be at increased risk of getting very sick if they are infected,” the CDC claimed.

Pfizer’s BioNTech COVID-19 shot will also prevent children from becoming “seriously sick even if they do get COVID-19” and will “help them safely participate in sports, playdates, and other group activities,” according to the CDC.

Big Bird isn’t the only famous muppet being used to hustle vax shots on kids. The whole Sesame Street crew is part of the racket:

Sesame Street and CNN have teamed up again on an all-new Town Hall special. “The ABCs of COVID Vaccines,” hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Erica Hill, along with Big Bird and friends, helps answer questions from kids and families about the COVID-19 vaccine, recently approved for for children ages 5-11.
