(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Federalist has compiled a list purporting to catalogue every lie that has come out of the Biden administration since President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
With the mainstream media having conveniently forgotten how to fact check every statement made by an administration, The Federalist staff said it compiled the running list to “keep the administration accountable.”
The list is broken down into three parts with a new part being published around every six months thus far.
Part one clocks in at a 46-minute read; part two sits at 53 minutes.
Part three was started on March 8, kicking off with the administration’s 140th lie: “Biden Denies Cutting Off Domestic Oil Production.”
“It’s simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production,” Biden insisted in a White House appearance. “It’s simply not true.”
Biden is attempting to scapegoat Russia’s war in Ukraine for the latest spike, which broke the record for the highest national average this week that was set during the George W. Bush administration.
With no end in sight, many are projecting that average to rise well over $5 per gallon after Biden’s announcement that he planned to ban Russian energy exports.
The Federalist article explained, however, that in addition to gas prices having risen long before Russian sanctions, the president “[suspended] oil and gas leases, axing projects such as the Keystone XL pipeline… [canceled] Arctic drilling leases, and [pushed] a cascade of taxes and regulation on the industry.”
Some other gems found in the list include bogus Biden claims that:
- He has created jobs.
- He believes purchasing American products is a priority.
- He is a devout Catholic who believes abortion is a right.
- Reporters for the corporate media are the smartest in the entire country.
- His administration has control of the U.S.–Mexico border.
- He is tough on China.
Apart from its running list, The Federalist posts many similar fact-checking pieces, including a recent one titled “Jen Psaki Is A Lying Liar Who Lies: Insane Gas Prices Edition.”
