(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The Biden administration published its proposed 2023 budget on Monday, which includes $5 million for “implicit bias training” to ensure that healthcare workers aren’t practicing racism on the job or in their private lives, American Greatness reported.
The allocation to the Department of Health and Human Services suggests that many Americans who work in the healthcare industrial complex are racist without knowing it, and therefore require tax-subsidized interventions to overcome their mental disorders.
It feeds into the controversial narrative, advanced by the discredited Marxist Critical Race Theory, that an undercurrent of “systemic racism” courses through every aspect of American life with the goal of oppressing nonwhite citizens and other historically “marginalized” Democrat voting blocs.
The grants would aim to “reduce and prevent implicit bias, racism and discrimination in maternity-care settings, and to advance respectful, culturally congruent, trauma-informed care” through the aforementioned training.
The proposal also would entail the creation of a government “anti-racist” task force to do the training.
The jargony term, first popularized by firebrand extremist Ibram X. Kendi, is actually an overt form of reverse racism, claiming that the only way to offset past generations of historic black oppression is to oppress the so-called oppressors in kind.
This is the first time that the HHS has requested funding for anti-racist projects. According to the report, racial “equity” will be another major emphasis in the department during the next year.
That concept implies emphasis on the equality of outcomes rather than opportunities—or in Marxist terminology: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”
According to the department’s report, the program aims to advance “equity through the work of the federal government and helps ensure [federal] programs serve people of color and other marginalized populations.”
By spending tax dollars, the agency hopes to “achieve health equity” and “address the epidemic of systemic racism.”
Given the treatment that imaginary epidemics have received in this country over the past two years, this description is especially troubling.
Of course, Biden’s budget proposal is massively bloated in dozens of other ways as well, including pouring billions of dollars into “countering Russian aggression to support Ukraine.”
Biden also plans to give the CIA and the FBI a handsome boost in funding.
According to reports, his proposed investment “will be among the largest investments in our national security in history,” although it does not appear to be going toward America’s defense.
