(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The U.S. Army has indefinitely suspended a retired three-star general from a consulting position, pending the results of an investigation into a tweet mocking First Lady Jill Biden.
According to The Daily Wire, Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky was “advising senior military officers, staff and students participating in war games and other military activities,” and has been suspended without pay.
Mrs. Biden tweeted a response regarding the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies.
Today, that right was stolen from us.
And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.

“For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us,” Biden tweeted on June 24, reacting to the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade. “And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.”
“Glad to see you finally know what a woman is,” Volesky mocked FLOTUS in a now-deleted reply tweet.
An army spokesman confirmed that commander of the Combined Arms Center, Lt. Gen. Theodore Martin suspended Volesky.
An investigation into the tweet will determine Volesky’s future with the Army, though there have been no statements about what exactly is being investigated.
Many other Twitter users contributed their thoughts on Mrs Biden’s tweet.
It was NOT stolen. Roe was ALWAYS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The USSC corrected Blackmun’s judicial arson. In the majority of states, a woman can still murder an unborn child.

Maybe you shouldn’t have permitted jab mandates eh? You know, “my body, my choice”?

Nothing was stolen. Stealing taxpayer dollars for an unconstitutional service was finally corrected. pic.twitter.com/sAWEqa5M1B
