Apple Introduces ‘Gender-Neutral’ Alternative to Siri

'Millions of people around the world rely on Siri every day to help get things done, so we work to make the experience feel as personalized as possible... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Apple is now beta-testing a gender-neutral alternative to Siri, apparently because leftist radicals are determined to wrap their woke tentacles around every aspect of life.

The new voice, dubbed “Quinn” by the tech giant, is reportedly voiced by a member of the LGBT community.

The Quinn voice will be a part of the next iOS update, which will be released in the coming weeks, according to Todd Starnes.

Developer Steve Moser posted a clip of the new voice:

Reporter Jon Porty posted a clip of the voice along with Apple’s current voice offerings as a comparison:

The woke wonder is being added in an effort to add more “diverse” options for Siri’s voice, according to the New York Post,

In the last year, Apple added two Siri voices that were recorded by black actors.

Recent updates to the iOS also ask users to choose which voice they would like Siri to have, instead of having the program be female by default.

This expansion of vocal options for the virtual assistant came on the tail of a report from a United Nations agency which argued that defaulting to female-sounding virtual assistants “carries a risk of spreading problematic gender stereotypes and regularizing one-sided, command-based verbal exchanges with women.”

A representative of Apple said they were “excited” to introduce the new voice and give “users more options to choose a voice that speaks to them.”

“Millions of people around the world rely on Siri every day to help get things done, so we work to make the experience feel as personalized as possible,” Apple said.
