AOC Parties in Florida as New York City Locks Down

'Hey AOC tell me you endorse Ron DeSantis without telling me you endorse Ron DeSantis... '

Aspiring actress and proud Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, made sure to get a head start on her New Year’s Eve celebration, leaving her lockdown ravaged city to party in free Florida, Fox News reported.

Feeling the need for some freedom from her party’s tyrannical policies, the millennial from New York took a dining and drinking tour around Miami beach without a mask on, beginning at Doraku Sushi and apparently meeting a maskless friend later on.

AOC was trolled extensively on Twitter for leaving her home state to its suffering while she partied in Governor DeSantis‘ deep red Florida.

“You’re being played by AOC dummies,” one tweeter wrote.

Others remarked upon the irony of AOC spending time in Florida.

“Hey AOC tell me you endorse Ron DeSantis without telling me you endorse Ron DeSantis,” another wrote.

The two states, New York and Florida, stand in stark contrast, especially in respect to the Coronavirus response.

New Yorkers have spent weeks cowering in fear because of misguided fears of the Omicron variant.

“In New York City, the slightest runny nose has people canceling holiday gatherings and lining up for hours outside coronavirus testing centers,” according to an article in the New York Times.

They have also introduced camps for the unvaccinated to concentrate on getting the jab.

New York Bill A416 would grant the governor the authority to detain individuals for great lengths of time, according to the National Pulse.

“The bill gives the Governor of New York, his or her delegates – including but not limited to the commissioner and heads of local health departments – the right to remove and detain any individuals or groups of people through issuing a single order. The orders only have to include the individual’s name(s) or ‘reasonably specific descriptions of the individuals or groups.'”

Unless you’re a Squad-certified AOC; then you jet off to Florida.
