(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez threatened Republicans on Thursday after two radical Tennessee House Democrats were expelled for helping to lead an insurrection last week inside the State Capitol.
Rep. Justin Jones and Rep. Justin Pearson were booted from the Tennessee State Legislature for helping lead an insurrection inside the Tennessee State Capitol, according to the Gateway Pundit. The news source reported that this was the first time in Tennessee’s history that a partisan expulsion happened.
Another Democrat who participated in the insurrection, Rep. Gloria Johnson, however, survived being expelled by one vote.
Even though these people broke into the State Capitol and, therefore, committed a crime, AOC doesn’t have an issue with these actions. Instead of condemning her fellow Democrats, she threatened GOP in one of her Twitter posts.
“Wow. Students are standing outside the Tennessee House right now and chanting, ‘F**k you, fascists,'” Victor Shi tweeted. “Young people are absolutely pissed off & we are about to give Republicans hell like they’ve never seen. We [Generation Z] aren’t forgetting this.”
AOC responded to the tweet by threatening Republicans.
“Republicans may think they won today in Tennessee, but their fascism is only further radicalizing and awakening an earthquake of young people, both in the South and across the nation,” she wrote.
“If you thought youth organizing was strong, just wait for what’s coming. Gen Z don’t [sic] play.”
People on Twitter responded to AOC’s threat.
“This is a call for violence from @AOC,” actor Nick Searcy wrote.
Joshua Niday made fun of AOC by pointing out her hypocrisy.
“You’re supporting an insurrection. I thought Insurrections were bad. Never forget April 6!”
Rob Eno of the Blaze thanked AOC for saying the quiet part out loud.
“Radicalizing is the correct word. Because you are a socialist radical hell-bent on destroying our country to instill your Marxist paradise,” he wrote.
