(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Comedian and host of late night show “Real Time,” Bill Maher, faced the vitriol of the woke mob after he made comments questioning giving puberty blockers to children, the Daily Caller reported.
Maher discussed the hormone blockers in a nine-minute monologue on his show, pointing out the extreme statistical increase of people—especially young kids and teenagers—who identify as LGBT.

“Broken down over time the LGBT population of America seems to be roughly doubling every generation,” Maher said, introducing the segment.
“According to a recent Gallup Poll, less than one percent of Americans born before 1946—that’s Joe Biden’s generation—identify that way.”
“2.6 percent of boomers do, 4.2% of Gen X, 10.5% of Millennials, and 20.8% of Gen Z,” he continued. “Which means, if we follow this trajectory, we will all be gay in 2054.”
Maher questioned why this could be, pointing out the geographical inconsistency of the growing LGBT population.
“When things change this much this fast, people are allowed to ask ‘what’s up with that?'” Maher said.
He also discussed the effect this is having on children, including the harm that especially puberty blockers can have on young kids, and the regional specificity of the movement.
“If this spike in trans children is all natural, why is it regional?” Maher asked. “Either Ohio is shaming them or California is creating them.
“If we can’t admit that in certain enclaves there is some level of trendiness to the idea of being anything other than straight, then this is not a serious science based discussion, it’s a blow being struck in the culture wars using children as cannon fodder.”
Maher was careful to not fully condemn the LGBT movement, making it clear that he does believe that everyone should be able to express themselves how they see fit.
Despite his asking of an honest question, leftist Twitter users were quick to condemn Maher.
