College Cites ‘White Fragility’ to Justify Illegally Segregating Racial Groups

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) An English professor at Anderson University, a Christian college in Indiana, has brought segregation back into style, separating students based upon race while citing ‘white fragility’ as the justification, the Daily Mail reported.

Adult English professor Elizabeth Boltz Ranfield took to TikTok to defend her decision.

According to Ranfield, segregation still exists in secret, and she wants white people to understand what it feels like to be discriminated against.

“White people do this thing where we create spaces and are a part of spaces that are white only not by statute, but by default – so circumstances allow a space to continue to be white only even though there’s no rule that says white only.”

She also emphasized that white people attempt to excuse themselves by arguing things such as: “this is just a white (geographical) area.”

Ranfield–who is white herself and seems to believe that she is the representative of all white people–suggested that blacks need to begin organizing places for blacks only, in order to help white people understand their own privilege.

“If people of color begin to organize and create spaces that are for them, white people, we get all, ‘Well, isn’t that segregation,” she said.

She also noted that white people are too sensitive to racial issues, and that their sensitivity often leads to anger and resentment.

Anderson University has what they call a “racial task force,” which is a group of race-baiting students who judge the racism of their classmates.

The task force determined that the segregation is acceptable.

University President John Pistole defended the task force’s decision.

“After compiling the responses, the task force decided to welcome students into respective listening groups based on race and ethnicity,” he said.

“This evidence-based method was selected for listening groups based on research models that demonstrate it as being highly effective for receiving candid feedback.”
