Garland Weaponizes FBI Against ‘Terrorist’ Parents for Protesting School Boards

'America’s public schools and its education leaders are under immediate threat...'

Attorney General Merrick Garland has called upon the FBI to look into angry parents of schoolchildren as “domestic terrorists” and threats to school board members, investigative journalist Christopher Rufo reported, according to Twitchy.

The action comes after the National School Boards Association sent a letter to President Joe Biden suggesting that the post-Sept. 11 PATRIOT Act—once intended to take on international terrorism—instead be enforced domestically against the concerned parents who attend school board meetings.

“America’s public schools and its education leaders are under immediate threat,” the letter claimed.

Grassroots movements have mobilized across the country with concerned parents demanding answers and accountability from school boards that have used their power to push Critical Race Theory and other dangerous propaganda.

The NSBA wrote that it “respectfully asks for federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats and violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

Soon after the NSBA’s letter was sent, Garland determined that he ought to instruct the FBI to handle the so-called domestic extremists.

According to the letter, “there has been a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and violence against school administrators.”

Garland suggested that the FBI should partner “with local law enforcement,” to “implement the measures” of “prosecuting” these families.

Despite violence at the border and rapidly rising crime rates, especially in urban centers, Garland is concerned most of all with concerned parents of children.

Representative Ken Buck, R.-Colo., reacted on Parler, blaming Garland for his lack of focus.

“Instead of stopping drug cartels and the spike in violent crime, AG Garland is focused on treating parents like terrorists,” Buck wrote.

“Parents have every right to express their First Amendment rights with elected officials,” he continued. “Totally shameful!”
