(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Traces of cocaine discovered at the White House sent social media into overdrive with suspicions that the residue might have been left by embattled first son Hunter Biden.
The powdery discovery forced the evacuation of the White House on Sunday night, after Secret Service found the substance in a common area of the West Wing. A preliminary test of the substance showed it was cocaine, law enforcement told the Associated Press on Tuesday.
“On this July 4th, it has been confirmed that the white powder found on Sunday in the White House has tested positive to be cocaine,” tweeted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. “Is this rock bottom yet or how much worse is it going to get?”
President Joe Biden and his family had left for Camp David on Friday and returned to the White House on Tuesday, and the AP was quick to note that the traces of cocaine were found in an area of the White House easily accessible to tourists.
White House correspondent Simon Ateba reported that the substance was found in the White House Library, which “is primarily accessible to White House staff, including the President and their immediate staff, as well as members of the Executive Office of the President. It is a working library that serves as a resource for research and information related to the President’s duties and responsibilities.”

The president and First Lady, along with Hunter, his wife Melissa and son Beau, “stepped off Marine One on Tuesday after the discovery of white powder sparked a hazmat situation and forced an evacuation of the White House,” according to the Daily Mail.
That didn’t stop a tidal wave of speculative memes from flooding Twitter, pointing a long-nailed, snorting finger at Hunter Biden.

In a warped reaction to the Hunter memes, leftists responded by claiming the cocaine was left by Don Jr., although there was no more evidence pointing in that direction than there was pointing to Hunter, except for the coke-addict first son’s history.

“The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending,” the Secret Service said.
