Watch: A Triumphant Trump Celebrates Conservative Majority in SCOTUS

'I totally transformed the federal judiciary, appointing nearly 300 judges and justices and three great Supreme Court justice...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a rousing speech at the Moms for Liberty’s Joyful Warriors National Summit, former President Donald Trump basked in the glory of recent historic victories achieved by conservative appointees in the Supreme Court.

Trump applauded the conservative judges and justices that he appointed during his administration. The former president particularly championed the achievements made by his conservative appointees in the Court, including decisions that safeguarded religious freedom and struck down unconstitutional policies mandated by the Biden administration.

Addressing the audience, Trump took credit for the conservative-majority Court. “I totally transformed the federal judiciary, appointing nearly 300 judges and justices and three great Supreme Court justices to interpret the law and the Constitution as should,” Trump said to a cheering crowd.

Trump’s remarks came shortly after the Court rejected President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, deeming it outside the Department of Education’s authority to implement such sweeping policy changes.

In addition, the Court made a significant decision regarding the protection of religious freedom in a case involving a woman who sought to launch a graphic design website in Colorado.

The Court’s ruling upheld her right to exercise her religious beliefs while preserving artistic freedom, addressing concerns about a Colorado law that prohibited businesses from refusing services for same-sex marriages.

Another unanimous decision involved a postal worker who faced reprimand after requesting a religious accommodation to refrain from working on weekends. In the case of Groff v. DeJoy, the Court effectively overturned a lower court’s ruling, refusing to overrule a 1977 case that allowed businesses to reject religious accommodations if the requests imposed minimal costs on the business.

However, the justices provided new guidance for courts to determine whether such denials violated the First Amendment.

Trump’s speech at the pro-parental group event exuded confidence and pride in the accomplishments achieved by his administration’s judicial appointees.

Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, took to Twitter to tout Trump-appointed justices, stating, “THANK YOU to President Trump for nominating justices who ENDED affirmative action & institutional racism in college admissions. College admissions should be based on MERIT ALONE. GREAT DAY for students across America.”

The former president’s remarks and the recent Supreme Court victories showcased the lasting impact of his judicial appointments, emphasizing his commitment to conservative principles and the defense of constitutional rights.
