(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Al., said Tuesday that he filed a complaint with U.S. Capitol Police over former CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden’s call for him to be “removed” from the “human race.”
Hayden—one of the 51 disgraced intelligence officials who called the Hunter Biden laptop story “Russian disinfo” ahead of the 2020 presidential election—made his statement in response to Tuberville continuing to block military promotions. Tuberville is doing this in protest of the Pentagon policy that covers travel expenses for service members who are seeking abortions.
A Democratic activist asked if Tuberville should be removed from the Senate Armed Services Committee. Hayden responded by one-upping the activist on Monday, suggesting that Tuberville should also be wiped off the map.

After his comments were circulated, Hayden claimed a day later that he wasn’t threatening Tuberville.
“I was surprised to wake up this morning and discover that many MAGAnuts had lost their minds over my suggestion that ‘Coach’ Tuberville not be considered a member of the human race. I stand by that view,” said Hayden, who has also called Republicans more “dangerous” than extremist terror organizations and dictatorships around the world.
“I’m wishing you all a nice day; even the intransigent Tommy Tuberville.”
But Tuberville said Hayden knew exactly what he was doing when he called for his removal from humanity.
“Given General Hayden’s long career in Washington, he must have known that, by making such a statement, he was committing a serious crime,” Tuberville said in a statement.
“His own efforts today to reinterpret what he said are only a tacit admission of guilt. If we still have a nonpolitical justice system in this country, then General Hayden will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Tuberville also blasted his Democratic colleagues for their silence on the issue.
“I am not aware of a single Democrat member of Congress who has condemned this reckless statement,” he said.
“This deafening silence tells us everything we need to know about Democrats and their commitment to ‘Our Democracy.’ In fact, Democrats have only continued to attack me by name today.”
