(Headline USA) The U.S. Army is teaching critical race theory to West Point cadets, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch.
The woke lessons on “anti-racism” ask cadets about “whiteness,” which is “a location of structural advantage, of race privilege,” and “a standpoint or place from which white people look at themselves and the rest of society,” reported Fox News.
“In order to understand racial inequality and slavery, it is first necessary to address whiteness,” one slide reads.
Another lesson asks cadets to apply critical race theory to certain situations.
“Do you think affirmative action creates an environment for ‘reverse discrimination?’” one question reads. “Use CRT to support your answer.”
Another question states, “What is the difference between desegregation versus integration? How would you apply a tenet of CRT to this idea?”
The materials also claim that white Americans “have primarily benefited from civil rights legislation,” and that racism is “ordinary” in the U.S.
At the same time, the U.S. Navy is training its members to create a “safe space” by using proper gender pronouns. The military branch released an official training video encouraging sailors to think about what their preferred pronouns might be and to ask others about theirs, reported the Washington Free Beacon.
“Another way that we could show that we’re allies and that we accept everybody is to maybe include our pronouns in our emails or, like we just did, introduce ourselves using our pronouns,” one of the Navy officers says in the video.
The purpose of this training, according to the Navy, is to emphasize “the importance of using correct pronouns as well as polite etiquette when you may not be sure of someone’s pronouns.”
“Our military is under attack – from within,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement, blasting the military for trying to “radicalize” our troops and turn them into ideological soldiers.
