Twitter Censors Peer-Reviewed COVID-19 Study, Allows Death Threats

'Yet a long list of public health professionals tweeted a table with false data from a preprint and nothing happened... '

(Chris Parker, Headline USA) Twitter is facing backlash after censoring a peer-reviewed study regarding Pfizer’s COVID vaccine, while allowing a death threat against Justice Clarence Thomas to remain intact with its clear intent.

Libs of TikTok shared a screenshot in which Twitter stated that the user “hasn’t broken our safety policies” after user @Redfrnn brazenly threatened to assassinate Thomas. Twitter instead recommended blocking the account, reported Just the News.

The account has since been deleted. It not yet known whether Twitter or the user deleted the account after media backlash.

The person behind Libs of TikTok has also faced social media censorship and death threats. Instagram suspended their account. Twitter has removed their posts, although the account is still active (despite grumblings from Twitter employees).

In the same Tweet, Libs of TikTok admonished Twitter for censoring a peer-reviewed article Tweeted by Brown University epidemiologist Andrew Bostom.

That article discussed a potential decreased sperm count among recipients of the Pfizer COVID vaccine. His account remains suspended. The study was published by the Andrology Society of America.

Twitter has a long history of censoring conservatives – and that includes information shared in contradiction to what the Left considers mainstream. Twitter has admitted a left-wing bias, but insists that it doesn’t censor based on political ideology. However, the platform has been caught shadow banning conservatives.

Tech mogul Elon Musk has promised to make free speech a foundational component of Twitter if his bid to take over the social media giant is successful.

Twitter has previously reversed its decisions after facing significant backlash. The platform has also faced criticism for a significant number of fake accounts. That revelation initially stalled Musk’s buyout deal. Bostom, then censored epidemiologist, hopes that Musk will overturn his suspension if the deal is successful, although it’s only slated to last five days.

In light of the suspension, prominent science columnist David Zweig provided evidence of Twitter’s bias.

Bostom has also accused Twitter of censoring important scientific information, stating that “Twitter has also taken no action against White House COVID response coordinator Ashish Jha claiming that ‘there has not been any serious side effects’ from COVID vaccines.'”

He referenced a study published by French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products that has shown substantial side effects caused by the COVID vaccines.
