Intersectional Jeopardy: Trailblazing TV Tranny Gets Mugged in Oakland

'Pat, I'd like to solve the puzzle...'

(Headline USA) Reigning Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider was robbed at gunpoint over New Year’s weekend in Oakland, California, throwing another wrench into the Left’s utopian plans of a world in which woke identity politics and defunding the police are both top priorities.

Schneider, the first transgender contestant to qualify for the Tournament of Champions, tweeted about the robbery, saying that despite being shaken up everything was otherwise OK.

“Hi all! So first off: I’m fine. But I got robbed yesterday, lost my ID, credit cards and phone,” the Oakland resident said in the post. “I then couldn’t really sleep last night, and have been dragging myself around all day trying to replace everything.”

Jeopardy! issued a statement saying, “We were deeply saddened to hear about this incident, and we reached out to Amy privately to offer our help in any capacity.”

Schneider won again on Tuesday’s show, bringing an impressive winning streak to 25 consecutive victories, and earning $897,600 in winnings so far.

Some controversy arose, though, after Scheider surpassed the prior female champion’s record, raising questions as to whether biological factors may have offered an unfair advantage.

Similar debates are playing out on school sports teams and other arenas nationwide, with some outraged female athletes threatening to boycott leagues in which biological males are allowed to compete in the same division.

Meanwhile, in California, the rash of violent crimes continues unabated, largely due to failed policies like defunding the police and the influence of radical, George Soros-funded prosecutors who have gone soft on offenders.

In Oakland’s cross-the-Bay neighbor San Francisco, district attorney Chesa Boudin is facing a recall election and has come at odds with fellow Democrat Mayor London Breed after a spate of smash-and-grab robberies and other petty crimes has terrorized residents.

Oakland police said in a statement they were still investigating the armed robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon and had not yet made any arrests.

While a description of the assailants was not divulged, a popular conservative meme, “Pat, I’d like to solve the puzzle,” has emerged for just such occasions, inspired by another prime-time game show, Wheel of Fortune.
