(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A mass shooting reportedly occurred in Trenton, New Jersey shortly after midnight on Sunday—leaving at least eight injured and two dead. Some reports say 11 were shot, while others say 10.
According to the Trentonian, the shooting took place at a party described by Trenton’s mayor as a “large, unauthorized adult gathering” on a residential street.
The mayor reportedly said more than 200 people were outside, creating “serious public-safety concerns for the people attending it, the surrounding neighborhood, and the police officers and first responders who must respond when something goes wrong.”
No arrests have been made as of the publication of this article. Authorities have also yet to release information on the victims.
“More than 50 shell casings were located at the scene, which spanned the entire 100 block of Locust Street,” a local ABC affiliate reported.
“Police say they are reviewing surveillance footage, and attempting to locate helpful witnesses.”
