At a recent campaign event, failed Democratic senatorial and presidential candidate and rich man’s son-in-law Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, who is now running to be governor of Texas, was confronted by a Texas rancher and told “we don’t want you here,” according to a video posted to Twitter.

As the two shook hands, the rancher introduced himself as “Robert” and told O’Rourke he was speaking “on behalf of the ranchers, oil and gas, the farmers.”
“I’m in your grill telling you don’t come back,” Robert said, “we don’t want you here.”
“Get the hell out,” the rancher continued, “you ain’t taking my guns either.”
Obviously the man does not know that Robert Francis was “just born to be in it,” but he seems well-informed on certain promises that O’Rourke made as a presidential candidate in 2020.
“Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15,” Beto said during a presidential debate on September 12, 2019 in Houston, Texas.
O’Rourke also promised in 2019 that “colleges, churches, charities” that opposed same-sex “marriage” would lose their tax-exempt status if he were elected.

O’Rourke announced his run for governor on Nov. 15 and has since doubled down on his plans to deny Texans their constitutional rights.
O’Rourke is wisely distancing himself from unpopular President Joe Biden, and trails two-term incumbent Republican Gov. Greg Abbot by six points according to a Dallas Morning News-University of Texas at Tyler poll.
Perhaps more worrying for Beto is the possible candidacy of actor Matthew McConaughey. Beto would come in third in a three-way race against Abbot and McConaughey, according the Dallas Morning News, but would lose “nearly 2-to-1” if opposed by McConaughey alone.
