Swalwell the Latest Leftist Hypocrite to Vacation in Free State of Florida

'It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy.... '

Another week and another out-of-state Democrat caught in Florida, maskless, as their home state undergoes strict COVID prevention measures. This time the culprit is Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., who was caught out without a mask, according to the Daily Mail.

“The California Democrat has repeatedly accused conservative lawmakers of being responsible for the ongoing COVID wave and last week blamed the GOP for ‘canceled vacations’ and for having to wear ‘masks everywhere’ again just before the new year,” said the Daily Mail.

California recently instituted a mask mandate that forces people to wear masks in all indoor public spaces and workplaces until January 15.

Last week fellow Democrat from the Big Apple, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was caught not wearing a mask in Miami, dining out with her boyfriend. In AOC’s New York, mask mandates are in place for all businesses that don’t require proof of a vaccine to enter.

Florida is a favorite political target of liberals such as Swalwell, because its Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, refuses to institute such draconian measures like mask mandates and lockdowns over COVID.

“If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician who decided to escape to Florida over the last two years, I’d be a pretty doggone wealthy man, let me tell you,” DeSantis joked. “I mean, Congress people, mayors, governors, I mean you name it.”

Twitter teed-off on the hypocrisy of Swalwell.

“Again, the people telling you to be scared of Covid manage to go to the places with the least restrictions and prove how unconcerned they are,” said one Twiter user.

“If Swalwell truly believed his own rhetoric about COVID, Florida, and mandates, he would not take his maskless unvaccinated baby to Loews Hotel South Beach during the Omicron case surge in Miami,” said another user, adding, “It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy.”
