Stoically Defiant Trump Pleads Not Guilty to 34 Felony Charges in Sham Arraignment

'If you don’t have a problem with what’s happening today, you’re either in a cult or are a communist who worships Stalin... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) A defiantly reserved and icily calm Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records stemming from alleged hush-money payments made years ago to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The former president made his way in a multi-car motorcade Tuesday morning from Trump Tower to the Manhattan courthouse, where he strode into the courtroom, escorted by police, with an icy glare. Trump was placed under arrest and fingerprinted, but avoided being handcuffed and placed in a holding cell until his arraignment, according to multiple reports.

Trump is expected to be released on his own recognizance and is slated to return to his Mar-a-Lago home Tuesday night to make a formal statement.

“Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse,” Trump posted on Truth Social during the drive to court. “Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”

Others shared the sentiment.

“If you don’t have a problem with what’s happening today, you’re either in a cult or are a communist who worships Stalin,” wrote Mike Cernovich, while Will Chamberlain, senior counsel at the Internet Accountability Project, warned that “Democrats really do not understand the Pandora’s box they have opened today. Absolutely nothing good will come from arresting Trump. The only question is whether we will be able to repair the damage to our civic life.”

Leftist fake news regime collaborators, on the other hand, salivated over the sight of Trump being taken into custody.

“It’s worth taking a pause for a moment and recognizing the moment that we’re in, that we’ve never been in before,” a MSNBC talking head gushed. “And that is when he walked into that courthouse … Donald Trump, former president of the United States, frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president of the United States, is now under arrest. We’ve never seen it before.”

The zealotry overshadowed the outlet’s accuracy, according to the Daily Mail, which reported that Trump has company in the presidential pokey.

“The only other president to be charged with a crime was Ulysses S. Grant, who was arrested in 1872 for speeding in his horse and buggy. He was taken to jail and had to pay a $20 fine,” the Mail reported.

Critics of Soros-bought D.A. Alvin Bragg said the case he brought against Trump didn’t even rise to meet the Grant standard, and that the fallout from the misguided, politically weaponized indictment would be significant.
