Soros Buys More Journalists to Push Leftist Criminal Justice Reform

‘... some of these fellowships may pay up to six figures...’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) George Soros, a notorious America-hating, globalist billionaire, has paid anywhere from $63,000 to $85,000 to journalists to promote the far-Left’s warped version of criminal justice reform.

Through his nonprofit, the Open Society Foundations, Soros is offering media bribes under the guise of “Soros Justice Fellowships,” according to the Daily Wire. To eat off of Soros’s hand, people who receive a fellowship must produce leftist propaganda that aligns with the billionaire’s goals of reducing incarceration rates and sentencing guidelines.

People who receive media fellowships are expected to spew lies full-time and, therefore, are given 12 months financial cover. Up to three people may apply jointly to receive a single fellowship.

Journalists, however, are not the only people who can sell their souls to Soros for a good paycheck. “Advocacy” and “youth activism” are two additional categories of fellowship funding that Soros’s foundation offers. According to scholarship data provided to universities, some of these fellowships may pay up to six figures.

People of different professions are qualified to apply for these fellowships, like lawyers, advocates, grassroots organizers, artists and filmmakers.

Soros Justice Fellowship alumni become famous for their leftist activism. The list includes the likes of Mark-Anthony Johnson, an ally of a self-described “trained Marxist” and a co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Cullors, and Susan Burton, who founded A New Way of Life, the criminal justice reform activist group.

Soros has been offering this funding for 25 years, which resulted in 469 propagandists coming out after receiving his fellowships. Most of the people who received Soros’s fellowships and went to work in media became well-known fabulists across a variety of major news outlets in the United States.

Some of the current fellows’ descriptions explain why they received the fellowship from Soros.

Yasmine Arrington from Washington D.C. will produce a podcast about a criminal justice system that would exclude anyone except black and brown people from discussing the topic. Arrington has experience of writing for leftist publications, such as Forbes Magazine, the Washington Post, Baltimore Times and others.

Zachary Siegel, from Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s crime-plagued Chicago, will produce “news” about overdose deaths from his leftist perspective. He wrote for Harper’s Magazine, New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, New Republic, Politico and others.

Irene Franco Rubio, will produce a podcast on the incarceration and criminalization of juvenile minorities. Rubio’s resume is also filled with leftist activism, like writing for Forbes, USA Today, NPR and others. She also worked for Michelle Obama’s nonprofit.

Among many other people who started working for mass media sources that are well-known propaganda machines, some people also infiltrated sources that one may consider conservative, like the Christian Science Monitor and the Wall Street Journal.
