Reporter Axed After Trump-Backed Ariz. Senate Pick Reveals Racist Tweets

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A local Arizona reporter was fired for his recently revealed racist Tweets after he lied about United States Senate candidate Blake Masters.

Dillon Rosenblatt, the lying journalist, was fired by the Arizona Mirror for his racist past, the Western Journal reported. His Tweets included violations against the pieties of our rulers, such as racism and sexism.

Masters initially posted screenshots of the former tweets, and soon thereafter Rosenblatt’s employer found them.

Rosenblatt’s firing is the culmination of several months of drama between the two.

Last month Rosenblatt published an article which falsely accused Masters of being a neo-Nazi, and a devotee of former Nazi leader Hermann Goering.

The Mirror soon had to issue a correction to the article, suggesting that Rosenblatt had fabricated parts of his account of Masters.

“An earlier version of this article incorrectly characterized other media reports as saying that Blake Masters had ‘praised’ Nazi leader Hermann Goering,” the Editor’s Note stated.

The Mirror released a statement assuring their commitment to purely objective journalism while clarifying why they fired Rosenblatt.

“States Newsroom is committed to embodying the values of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice, and we ask readers to hold us accountable,” the statement said.

The values of diversity, equity, and inclusion are, in the Mirror‘s view, the “highest ethical standards” which inform their unbiased journalism.

“We are committed to holding ourselves and our reporters to the highest ethical standards, learning from our mistakes and producing the type of non-partisan, high-quality journalism that our readers expect.”

“States Newsroom has zero tolerance for racism, misogyny, and any form of hate speech,” they concluded.

According to Blake Masters, Rosenblatt had it coming after fabricating lies about Masters.

“He lied about my past writings. Why shouldn’t I tell the truth about his,” Masters said.
