(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki reacted with disbelief when informed that some independent and Democrat voters care more about economic issues, like inflation and gas prices, than a candidate’s stance on the 2020 election results, Twitchy reported.
Inside the Washington beltway, the permanent political class cannot imagine a situation in which Americans would prioritize anything over former President Donald Trump‘s so-called “Big Lie”—the well-established claim that partisan operatives, Big Tech companies, election officials and the media colluded to fix results in several states.
Holy moly siena/NYT poll “more than a third of independent voters and a smaller but noteworthy contingent of Democrats said they were open to supporting candidates who reject the legitimacy of the 2020 election…” as they focus on economic issues

Psaki shares Dan Rather’s idea that “a major theme of campaign coverage” for Democrats and the mainstream media should be an abstract idea, “the threat to American democracy.”
Imagine being shocked people would prioritize feeding their families over election denier nonsense. Especially given the roughly 300 examples I can give of liberals denying election results. Not only is it amazing, this out of touch idiocy is why they’re about to take a beating https://t.co/dS7LFKGNsb

But few people outside major cities, Leftist forums and Twitter threads believe that a Republican victory means fascism and a Democrat victory means democracy.
Polls show that average voters think Republicans will help lower the cost of living and Democrats will continue to pursue ideas that will cause energy, housing and food prices to keep rising.
Unlike media fanatics, with their 10-second attention spans, voters can remember that Democrats made unsubstantiated claims about election fraud after Donald Trump won the 2016 election.
Here’s ten minutes of every prominent Democrat denying Donald Trump won the presidential election in 2016. These same people now tell us questioning the result of a presidential election is a direct threat to our democracy. pic.twitter.com/h428LRT8Tq
