(Headline USA) Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., claimed in comments published this week that voters told her they would have supported her presidential campaign if she had a penis.

Warren reportedly made the comment during the 2020 campaign cycle, right after the Iowa caucus. She had performed catastrophically in the Iowa polls, and blamed her loss on the fact that she is a woman.
“We’d talked about the dynamics of Iowa, her competitors and the pressure she put on herself not ‘to screw this up,’” Politico reported. “But here and now she offered her plainest view of the landscape yet: “Everyone comes up to me and says, ‘I would vote for you, if you had a penis.’”
Warren’s allegation is about as believable as her claim that she is Native American, which turned out to be a lie as well.

Some pointed out, though, that Warren is taking a shot at her own party members, since she was competing in a primary election at the time.
