FBI Agent Lied to GOP Senators in Cover-Up of Hunter’s Laptop

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) President Donald Trump’s July 16 primetime address revealed not only that China was actively working to manipulate U.S. elections, but also that deep-state operatives within the U.S. government were engaged in covering up the election vulnerabilities.

Among the most shocking disclosures from the declassified-document dump, now available on the White House website, was the role of senior FBI counterintelligence official Nikki Floris, now a Microsoft executive, who took it upon herself to usurp the president’s authority.

“[I]’m basically running a shadow government across the FBI at this point,” Floris told a colleague in an internal message from 2020.

The bombshell prompted independent investigative journalist Catherine Herridge to dig in further, including communication with a senior member of former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s team.

“What they told me is that they did see a pattern where there was a sense or a feeling in the intelligence community that they just knew better,” Herridge said in an interview with NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich.

“They had to save President Trump from his own instincts, from his own tendencies, and that there was very much a globalist view and they had to preserve a globalist view,” Herridge added.

Herridge said that the plot extended well beyond efforts to massage Trump’s daily intelligence briefings about the election and China’s efforts to influence it.

“Whether it was downplaying or suppressing intelligence about the threat from China, whether it was giving a pass and calling the Hunter Biden laptop, ‘Russian disinformation’ … there was this level of a bureaucracy, a kind of conspiracy, that was making decisions about the kind of information that should be reaching policymakers and, ultimately, the commander-in-chief,” she said.

One particularly brazen display of unaccountability was the “spies who lie” scandal. Biden campaign officials actively colluded with 51 top-ranking members of the intel community to sow doubt about the veracity of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, which implicated him and his family in a multitude of criminal activity.

Although witnesses and forensic experts quickly proved that the laptop was real, the uncertainty was enough to lend plausible deniability, helping leftist networks and social media to censor and contain the scandal.

Meanwhile, an investigation led by Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, into the contents of the laptop and the Biden family’s influence-peddling schemes was tamped down by none other than Floris, who deceptively briefed the senators that the evidence they had uncovered was all part of a Russian disinformation plot to meddle in the 2020 race.

In her interview with Pavlich, Herridge said the newly declassified materials allowed her to “connect the dots” in order to understand the true scope of the conspiracy to steal the 2020 election.

While it already was widely known that intel operatives had selectively withheld key details about the Biden family scandals, allowing people to jump to false conclusions, the role that Floris and her co-conspirators played in actively attempting to throw elected leaders off the trail of an investigation may be indicative of broader criminal activity.

“A defensive briefing is given by the FBI when they think that you are the target of a foreign disinformation campaign — in this case they were briefed about Russia,” Herridge said.

“And Senator Johnson told me he believes this was an effort by the FBI to discourage him and Senator Grassley from pursuing the Hunter Biden laptop,” she added. “And that this whole ‘defensive briefing’ was designed to lay the groundwork for that larger obfuscation, which was that the laptop was not credible and it was not authentic.”

Speculation has swirled around ongoing Justice Department investigations into the seditious activity committed by government operatives between Trump’s 2016 election and his return to office last year. At least one of the current probes is being led by Jason Reding Quiñones, the U.S. Attorney for Southern Florida.

Former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, former DNI James Clapper and former Biden prosecutor Jack Smith are among those believed to be under investigation. It is unclear whether Floris or then-FBI Director Christopher Wray has yet been implicated for their actions during the 2020 campaign or thereafter.

Secret Service Agent Arrested for Almost Paddling Someone to Death

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A Secret Service agent and two others have been charged for nearly paddling someone to death in a fraternity hazing ritual.

As first reported by journalist Susan Crabtree last month, the agent involved in the hazing incident, Marquez Pinder, is an alumnus of a historically black fraternity at Miami’s Florida International University. Pinder has been on leave from the Secret Service for about a month.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle told media Sunday night that Pinder, 29, and two others, 26-year-old Jared Lamar James and 29-year-old Elijah Delano Dyous, have been charged with two counts of attempted manslaughter with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm and hazing with a deadly weapon.

“Authorities said an investigation uncovered evidence of alleged hazing incidents involving prolonged and repeated beatings with canes and paddles. They said failing to correctly answer questions about the fraternity allegedly led to the beatings,” local news site WPLG reported Sunday.

“According to investigators, the alleged hazing began April 1, 2026, at an apartment in Sweetwater and continued through April 2 and April 3 at the same location. On April 4, authorities said the alleged hazing continued at a residence in unincorporated Miami-Dade County.”

Justin Beckham, a defense attorney for Pinder, told the New York Times that his client has been “grossly overcharged.”

“He has served his country honorably, first in the military and then the Secret Service,” Beckham reportedly said. “We look forward to fighting these charges.”

The charges against Pinder come on the heels of news of another agent being put on leave for leaking info about Vice President JD Vance’s travel schedule.

On top of that, another Secret Service guard on Vance’s detail was recently arrested for a drug deal with an undercover cop. Crabtree reported the arrest last month, saying that she’s withholding the agent’s name “until more details emerge about the alleged drug-related arrest.”

A mother earlier, a Secret Service officer was reportedly in May arrested for public masturbation at a DoubleTree hotel near the Miami airport. And in April, a married Secret Service agent was revealed to have been having an affair with an OnlyFans star and making pornographic videos with her. Around the same time, ABC News revealed that a Secret Service trainee was arrested for spying on his roommate, also an agent-in-training, with a hidden camera.

Before that, a Secret Service agent protecting former First Lady Jill Biden shot himself in the buttocks last month at the Philadelphia International Airport.

And earlier in the month, Crabtree reported that agent Myosoty Perez, who is a lesbian, has been suspended and is under investigation for marrying a foreign national—possibly an illegal immigrant—without declaring it. Perez was one of the agents responsible for nearly getting President Donald Trump killed at his July 13, 2024, campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Additionally, in January a Secret Service recruit shot and killed a 16-year-old in Tamarac, Florida. The 16-year-old victim was identified as Orlando Wedderburn. A woman was also grazed. The Secret Service recruit, for his part, is claiming self-defense.

According to Crabtree, Secret Service Director Sean Curran is receiving internal criticism for not doing enough to eliminate the agency’s diversity, equity and inclusion policies, which were implemented starting in the Obama era.

Meanwhile, the agency is looking to hire 4,000 new employees by 2028.

Jury-Exemption Lists May Be Key to Exposing Dirty Voter Rolls

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) With the U.S. House having resolved to advance the SAVE America Act through must-pass appropriations like the National Defense Authorization Act, supporters see its best shot yet of being taken up in earnest by the U.S. Senate.

But cynics worry that RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota might still have some procedural tricks up his sleeve to try to slow-walk it until after the November midterm election, when Democrat majorities in Congress would render its election-integrity reforms moot.

Supporters such as Sens. Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Mike Lee, R-Utah, demanded that Thune take up the legislation prior to gaveling out the upper chamber for a weekslong “summer recess” that would likely not return to session until September.

“I hereby object to any effort to put the Senate into recess in August—at least until such time as the Senate has passed the SAVE America Act—and hereby request a roll call vote,” Lee said. “Do not assume you have my consent. You do not.”

Even if the act were to garner the necessary support of at least 50 Senate Republicans and somehow overrule the objections of the Senate parliamentarian, naysayers have questioned whether the measure to require voter ID, limit mail-in voting and establish a nationwide voter database could be implemented with just over three months until the election.

Nonetheless, the Trump administration is looking to close the loopholes in every way possible, including deploying the Justice Department to demand access to state voter rolls and using the U.S. Postal Service as leverage for states planning to issue mass mail-in ballots.

One voting-rights activist who has been at the forefront of advocating for election reform, Scott Presler, also called on states to pass legislation that would make public the list of jurors disqualified due to noncitizen status, thus acting as a workaround against efforts to conceal noncitizen voting.

Because the lists are drawn from the same source as voter rolls, typically through the state Department of Motor Vehicles, the appearance of names on the jury ineligibility list would be a red-flag for potential voting abuse, Presler noted.

Presler backed it up by presenting a 65-page-long list of noncitizens summoned for jury duty in Chester County, Pa.

The idea of cross-referencing jury lists has been floated in the past.

According to a Snopes.com “fact check,” claims about nearly half a million registered California voters being outed as noncitizens emerged following the 2018 midterm elections.

Snopes was unable to categorically disprove the claims, which it said circulated via Facebook, but it declared the claims to be “unproven” since the Facebook users it contacted for proof told the so-called fact-checkers to do their own damn research.

“When asked to provide documentation or some sort of citation for this information, supporters fell back on common right-wing canards,” Snopes claimed.

A recent bombshell report from Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin revealed that in just four states examined by DHS — California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada — it had identified a quarter-million noncitizens registered to vote.

Biden Drops Lawsuit Blocking Release of Audio Tapes on Classified Materials

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Facing several legal roadblocks, former President Joe Biden halted his efforts to prevent the DOJ from releasing audio recordings and transcripts of his controversial interviews with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer.

The recordings and documents were obtained during former Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s alleged mishandling of classified documents after he left the vice presidency in 2017.

The interviews span roughly 70 hours of Biden speaking with Zwonitzer for his 2019 memoir, Promise Me, Dad. The audio recordings reportedly show Biden openly discussing he had classified materials.

The Heritage Foundation, alongside the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee, filed an open records lawsuit in 2024 seeking access to the records.

Biden sued the DOJ on May 26 in an attempt to block the release of the files.

His lawsuit met its first defeat after U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich ruled that the public’s interest in the files outweighed his privacy concerns, according to reports.

He challenged that ruling by appealing to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. A three-judge panel recognized Biden’s interest in protecting personal information, but it ruled: “DOJ’s redactions, however, meaningfully narrow the requested disclosure’s incursion on that interest.”

Now that he dropped the lawsuit, the DOJ will proceed with the release.

Biden did not face criminal charges in the classified documents matter after Hur claimed that the evidence did not establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

“Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,” Hur wrote in his final report.

The documents included “marked classified documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan,” as well as “notebooks containing Mr. Biden’s handwritten entries about issues of national security and foreign policy implicating sensitive intelligence sources and methods.”

Biden stored the materials in his garage, office and basement at his Wilmington, Delaware, home.

“However, for the reasons summarized below, we conclude that the evidence does not establish Mr. Biden’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,” Hur added.

Hackers Expose Rotten Tomatoes Plot to Rig ‘Odyssey’ Reviews

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Some have called Christopher Nolan’s remake of The Odyssey an epic conquest for the ages; others call it a three-hour golden fleecing.

To some conservatives, it may seem a siren song, beckoning its unwitting moviegoers to engage in cultural destruction due to its historical revisionism of a Western canonical treasure.

But according to online sleuths, the movie is, most of all, a Trojan horse, stealthily using subterfuge and guile to deceive and manipulate its marks by appearing to be something it isn’t.

The movie is accused of suppressing negative reviews and using fuzzy math to minimize the perception of backlash in order to create a façade of organic buzz like that which Nolan rode to acclaim during 2023’s “Barbenheimer” craze.

“Perhaps a handful of trolls—a small group that includes the richest man in the world—has sworn off Nolan’s film because its cast has the audacity to feature both a Black woman and a trans man,” crowed Vanity Fair. “But loud as their voices may be, the actual grosses prove that they couldn’t dampen The Odyssey’s prospects.”

Industry insiders have claimed, as of Sunday, that the film’s financial intake has made it an unqualified success, with its $368,060,231 worldwide gross well exceeding its $250 million production budget.

Meanwhile, some argue that controversial casting decisions — such as transgender performer Elliot Page in the role of Greek warrior Sinon, Black Panther star Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy, and anti-ICE activist John Leguizamo as the wise and loyal Eumaeus — have weaponized culture-war outrage into its own market force, fueling free word-of-mouth exposure while writing off the boycotts and complaints of a few as collateral damage.

“One could take this outcome as evidence that the right-wing campaign against the film actually helped it by turning the film into a liberal cause célèbre, if one were interested in being wrong,” Vanity Fair claimed.

“The real truth is that normal people, regular folks whose brains haven’t been pickled by constant exposure to the worst opinions on the internet, are unaware of this manufactured controversy,” the magazine continued. “And even if they have heard about it, they certainly aren’t letting it influence their viewing habits.”

As one might expect, the film’s marketing executives have touted a litany of five-star reviews from media outlets that, in many cases, may have had promotional sponsorship agreements with the studio.

However, a Reddit user claimed to have dug into the metadata on leading review site Rotten Tomatoes and discovered that it was actively suppressing negative reviews.

The thread went on to explain how users themselves could access the backend files to show the actual breakdown of reviews.

“A score of 97% is mathematically impossible (combined with faked ticket sales) and this is looking more and more like widespread FRAUD by the Hollywood Industry on a MASSIVE scale,” wrote YouTube film critic “Mr. Obvious.”

Although Rotten Tomatoes claimed the film had a 97% favorable audience reception, its JSON files indicated that the true score was only 56%. That would rank it in the same echelon with films like the 1982 Burt Reynolds/Dolly Parton classic The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Unfortunately for Nolan, the film’s critical reception did not fare as well as the widely panned superhero movie The Marvels, which also drew backlash over its DEI casting but still pulled off a viewer rating of 59%.

Critics further accused the film of padding its ticket sales and using false comparisons to make its attendance numbers seem much more robust than they really were.

“Needless to say despite the reported numbers/revenue (and opening at box office numbers) its [sic] looking like smoke and mirrors, the film is being propped up to LOOK like a success but in reality is a CATACLYSMIC financial failure. (might not even break even),” Mr. Obvious noted.

“I also have a sneaking suspicion they are manipulating ticket sales buy preordering tickets and very likely canceling those orders at the very last second, otherwise, they are BURNING money ($375 million already) it seems desperate—they are in too deep,” the podcaster added.

In addition to the film’s alleged use of dummy ticket sales and reliance on pre-sale seats purchased up to a year ago (long before its casting controversies surfaced), some have sought to point out ticket-price disparities in comparison to past blockbusters like Nolan’s 2008 breakout hit, The Dark Knight. Since many of the Odyssey tickets were sold for IMAX theaters, they included a major price markup while couching the misleading figures on actual attendance.

As online film critic OMB Reviews further noted, the actual intake needed to offset the movie’s marketing costs and the cut to theaters would be three times the actual production budget, or around $750 million, just to break even.

“The Nolan Bros can keep running their mouths, but at the end of the day this movie is not likely to stand the test of time over the coming years,” said the post, likely referring to Nolan’s fanatical supporters and not his actual siblings.

As word broke of the deception, some X users mocked it with a mashup nod to other recent allegations of blatant meddling in U.S. political elections.

Meanwhile, former trillionaire Elon Musk hinted that he might be open to creating an alternate, non-woke version of Home’s epic tale.

Musk originally teased that he would bankroll a Mel Gibson project to do an authentic version in its original Greek.

But he later seemed to backtrack, suggesting the entire movie could be completed more efficiently using Grok’s artificial intelligence capabilities.

Maine’s ‘Sore Loser’ Law May Help Ashley Webb Snag Senate Nomination

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Maine Democrats on Saturday officially declared socialist Troy Jackson their U.S. Senate nominee after ousting duly-selected candidate Graham Platner two weeks earlier.

But according to some, Jackson may be ineligible, opening a potential pathway for challengers like social-media sensation Ashley Webb, a transgender candidate who went viral for graphic discussions of man-struation on the site Reddit.

Jackson secured 566 of the 571 delegate votes on Saturday for the opportunity to take on Republican incumbent Sen. Susan Collins in September.

“They will say that a grassroots campaign, powered by working people, cannot defeat Susan Collins and every powerful interest standing behind her. They are wrong again,” Jackson said in an acceptance speech after he was handed the opportunity by party elites.

Jackson beat out healthcare executive Saundra Pelletier, as well as career public bureaucrat David Costello. Webb, who participated in a July 16 debate with the three, failed to secure enough signatures to qualify for the convention ballot.

Platner won the June 9 primary, handily defeating the next closest candidate, Gov. Janet Mills, by a margin of 72% to 19%. Costello finished in third place with 8%.

He withdrew from the race after his poll numbers began to fall, following multiple allegations of rape and violence toward women. The scandal reportedly led state Attorney General Aaron Frey to threaten Platner with potential criminal charges if he refused to drop out.

But according to state Rep. James White, Jackson may be subject to the state’s so-called sore-loser law, having been earlier defeated in the state gubernatorial primary with a total of zero votes.

In a letter to Democrat secretary of state Shenna Bellows, White, a Republican, cited several sections of the state’s Title 21-A statute prohibiting candidates who already lost in a given election cycle from entering a different race.

“Mr. Jackson filed as a candidate for Governor, appeared on the June primary ballot, and was defeated by Maine voters,” Jackson wrote.

“He now seeks to become the Democratic nominee for an entirely different statewide office through the vacancy process,” Jackson added. “That sequence raises substantial questions as to whether he is legally a ‘qualified person’ under Maine law.”

The same might also be true of Costello, leaving only Pelletier and Webb as eligible candidates.

White noted that the law was established to prevent just such a bait-and-switch as Democrats used — yet again — to replace the deeply flawed Platner.

“This question extends well beyond a single candidate or a single election,” he wrote.

“It goes to the integrity of Maine’s election laws and whether statutory qualifications apply equally to every candidate or may be disregarded when political expediency favors a different result,” he continued. “The vacancy process exists to fill an unexpected vacancy, not to provide a second opportunity for a candidate who already sought and lost another office during the same election process.”

White’s appeal to the rule of law is unlikely to sway Bellows, who previously tried, unsuccessfully, to block President Donald Trump from appearing on the 2024 ballot with a spurious ploy involving the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause.

Regardless, Jackson is, like Platner, a candidate with a concerning history of violence, in addition to his extreme political views.

In early July, after Jackson’s name was first floated as the heir apparent to Platner, allegations emerged that he had hurled a water bottle at a fellow Democrat who disagreed with him.

“In our discussions we have received troubling information about not only Jackson’s behavior, but the behavior of many prominent Maine Democrats toward women more broadly,” wrote the group Progressive Victory in a now-deleted July 7 post that was corroborated by a July 20 Washington Post article.

“Both as a result of the credibility of the sources and in the interest of not seeing our movement make the same mistake twice, we are choosing to share some of this now,” Progressive Victory said.

Webb, whose profile has risen considerably over the past week with a series of online memes, may wind up as the proverbial “last man standing” in the Senate race, which must be finalized by Monday at the latest.

However, the author and songwriter also cautioned voters about potential red-flag rage issues during the candidate debate.

“I guess the biggest thing is, I’m just an angry citizen now,” Webb said. “And if I got elected, I’d be an angry senator.”

Report: Democratic National Committee Can’t Pay Its Bills

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The cash crunch at the Democratic National Committee is so bad that DNC officials are begging their vendors to not to send bills until after the midterm elections, according to the New York Times.

“The bookkeeping maneuver, which was described by three people briefed on it, is the latest sign of financial duress for the Democratic National Committee and its embattled leader as money troubles threaten to undercut Democratic momentum with 100 days until the midterms,” the Times reported Sunday.

The DNC is also reportedly engaging in accounting tricks to make its finances look better. For example, it transferred $1 million that was meant for the 2028 convention to help pay for 2026 expenses.

The Times added that the DNC’s financial duress is causing its chairman, Ken Martin, to lash out at employees. At one point earlier this month, Martin reportedly threw his phone at the desk of a junior aide while criticizing the person.

The DNC declined to comment on the matter, while its executive director told the Times that the bill-deferral discussions were “nothing more than standard negotiations with vendors over contracts and payment processes.”

The DNC is reportedly $2 million in debt, while the Republican National Committee has $128.5 million in cash.

The DNC’s financial situation stems from its disastrous 2024 election performance. The Kamala Harris presidential campaign spent $1.5 billion—or roughly $100 million per week—only to lose in a landslide.

It wasn’t just the Harris campaign’s loss that has donors sour on the DNC. It was the foolish expenditures. The Times reported last year that Harris spent $12 million on polling, which was apparently necessary because incumbent President Joe Biden didn’t do any of that for her.

“Though Ms. Harris had been on the ticket from the start, her advisers discovered that the Biden operation had done virtually no research on her strengths and weaknesses,” the Times reported.

“Other major costs, according to records and campaign officials, included $111 million in online ads seeking donations, at least $100 million transferred to battleground-state parties, $70 million on mail and nearly $28 million to produce the merchandise that people were ordering,” the Times added.

Seattle Police are Searching for Men Who Parachuted from the Space Needle

(Headline USAThe Seattle Police Department is searching for two men who climbed over the glass wall of the city’s iconic Space Needle on Friday, flipped over the edge and parachuted down from the 605-foot structure.

The jumpers face trespassing charges, according to a report provided by Public Affairs Officer Brian Pritchard.

The BASE jumpers purchased tickets and entered the Space Needle at about 8:50 p.m. Friday, according to the Seattle Police Department. The popular attraction has a round observation deck surrounded by high glass windows that are open to the sky above.

They were seen on camera at the top level of the Needle then went into a restroom, coming out with helmets on, according to police.

They ran to the glass window, climbed over to the other side, and jumped off, according to police.

Security at the Space Needle were unsure where the men landed, and police could not locate the individuals. They have not been identified by authorities and were described only as white men in their late 20s.

BASE jumping is an extreme sport that involves jumping off objects and deploying a parachute. It is an acronym for the platforms parachutists leap from: buildings, antennas, spans (bridges) and Earth.

The Space Needle did not immediately return emailed requests for comment on Saturday.

DOJ: N.J.’s Noncitizen Voters More than 5X What Dems Acknowledged

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The Justice Department said that the illegal voters New Jersey Democrats admitted to letting slip through the cracks during the 2024 election were just the tip of the iceberg.

“So, our Homeland Security has actually informed the state of New Jersey that there are potentially 35,000 people on the voter rolls who are not United States citizens who could be casting ballots, and New Jersey has been mum on that,” said Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, during an interview Thursday with Newsmax. “That’s why I’m suing New Jersey.”

The figure is more than five times what New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill acknowledged two days prior in a statement, claiming that a “software error” in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System was responsible for allowing roughly 6,600 noncitizens to register.

Of those, Sherrill claimed the damage was limited to just a couple hundred illegal votes.

“Our preliminary analysis shows fewer than 400 individuals who were newly registered for the first time because of the error voted,” she said in the statement. “They were registered as Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters and were scattered across the state.”

Sherrill, who was in Congress at the time, was quick to pass the buck back to the prior administration of fellow Democrat Phil Murphy.

“This happened under the previous administration and, upon learning this information, I immediately ordered my chief counsel to launch an investigation to get to the bottom of what occurred,” she claimed.

She said she had removed the voters erroneously added during that yearlong window and planned to replace the vendor who administered the system.

Sherrill also said the individuals detected through the investigation all had answered “no” when asked if they were U.S. citizens applying for identification cards, “but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway.”

The claims from the notoriously corrupt blue state raise deeper questions as to how many ineligible voters who answered “yes” might still be undetected, as well as those who were registered through previous glitches outside the scope of the investigation.

The timing of it also seemed curious as Trump administration officials have begun an all-out blitz to close election-integrity loopholes long believed to have been exploited by the Left, in coordination with foreign powers like China.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin revealed earlier in the month that a review of just four states — California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada — had uncovered more than 250,000 noncitizens on the voter rolls.

On July 16, President Donald Trump delivered a rare primetime address in which he revealed that voting systems in the U.S. were much easier to hack than acknowledged previously, and that China had used some 220 million U.S. voter files in high-level efforts to meddle in the 2020 election.

Trump said much of the new information came directly from files that the intelligence community had left behind in hidden “burn bags,” suggesting there had been a seditious conspiracy to cover up the vulnerabilities during his previous term in office.

Many of the now-declassified files were uploaded to a new “election integrity” section of the official White House website.

While the Justice Department has filed several lawsuits, with little success, to compel blue states to hand over their dirty voter rolls for auditing, the administration is hopeful that a new policy through the United States Postal Service will leave them no choice but to cooperate.

The measure, which would block the delivery of mail-in ballots for states that refused to submit voter lists and affix scannable bar codes on ballots, was approved on a temporary basis by the D.C. Circuit court.

Republicans are also hopeful for what seems like their best shot at passing the long debated SAVE America Act, which would mandate voter ID, among other things.

The House of Representatives recently affixed it to its annual National Defense Authorization Act appropriations, which would allow it to pass the Senate through the budget reconciliation process, provided it can clear the Senate parliamentarian and get a simple majority.

A previous test vote was able to get 50 supporters, with Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, agreeing to the election-integrity components of the bill. That would allow it to pass with a tiebreaking vote from Vice President JD Vance, who also has authority as Senate president to overrule leftist Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough.

Pressure is on to implement legislative and administrative safeguards with just over three months until the midterm elections, with Democrats already plotting to derail Trump’s agenda should they regain control of Congress.

In an interview Friday with Fox Business, Dhillon accused Democrats of “moving the goalpost” by continuing to shrug off potential voter fraud, even if they are willing to acknowledge its presence.

“First, they say ‘it doesn’t happen.’ Then, they say it’s ‘really rare.’ Now, they say, ‘it happens quite a bit but didn’t change the outcome of an election!’” Dhillon said. “I don’t know when the next shoe is gonna drop, but the DOJ is taking this issue very seriously.”

Fauci Accused of Bartering Gov’t Funding in Exchange for Award Nominations

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Ahead of former COVID czar Anthony Fauci’s scheduled appearance Wednesday before the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, committee chair Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., released a tranche of damning records shedding new light on Fauci’s private thoughts and actions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

One email showed Fauci appearing to coerce a Duke University virologist into nominating him for multiple awards in return for more than a billion dollars in grant funding.

In an October 2018 email chain discussing a nomination for the Shaw Prize, Fauci wrote, “There is another one that looks possible to me if you are willing to do it. As usual I will supply all of the material.”

Fauci went on to win the Dan David Prize in 2021, which came with $1 million in prize money.

However, Haynes did not walk away empty-handed either. Between 2006 and 2023 he received an estimated $1.2 billion in funding from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, where Fauci was the director until December 2022. That included two NIAID grants totaling more than $58 million after helping Fauci clinch the Dan David Prize.

Fauci retired when Republicans regained control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections, all but assuring his actions overseeing the mishandling of the pandemic would come under serious scrutiny.

He received a preemptive pardon on President Joe Biden’s last day in office, the acceptance of which legally serves as an admission of guilt under 1915’s Burdick v. United States.

However, his immunity puts the once highest paid government official in a dilemma, theoretically, as he can no longer plead the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination. Either Fauci will tell the full truth at the hearing Wednesday, with his longtime congressional nemesis holding the gavel, or he will likely face charges including perjury and contempt of Congress.

There is precedent for punishing malicious abuse of the Fifth Amendment during congressional testimony. Former IRS operative Lois Lerner, accused of targeting conservative nonprofits during the Obama administration, was held in contempt for her refusal to testify but was never prosecuted by then-Attorney General Eric Holder.

Ahead of the hearing, where sparks are certain to fly, Paul also released a nine-post thread on X that included purported diary entries from Fauci spanning from the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic through his NIAID resignation.

Among the takeaways was that Fauci and his colleagues openly doubted Chinese claims that the virus had come from a wet market rather than the Wuhan Institute for Virology, which Fauci was secretly collaborating with to conduct gain-of-function research. Nonetheless, they agressively pushed the wet-market theory in public.

Previously released emails from Fauci have exposed the callous and opportunistic mindset he exhibited during the pandemic’s early stages.

In March 2020, on the same day that the U.S. declared a national pandemic emergency, Fauci was more preoccupied with an invitation to attend a meeting of the shadowy, globalist Trilateral Commission.

Emails also showed him turning down meetings with pharmaceutical companies like Johnson & Johnson, while dwelling obsessively on his media coverage and the deli order he planned to put in for lunch.

“How about a pastrami sandwich on rye and a potato knish?” Fauci wrote.
