Harvard, Columbia University Students Blame Israel for Hamas Atrocities

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Leftist students from both Harvard University and Columbia University released their statements, in which they blamed Israel for the violence and atrocities committed by the deadly terrorist group Hamas in its attack against the Jewish state.

“We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence. Today’s events did not occur in a vacuum… The apartheid regime is the only one to blame,” the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine wrote.

As soon as the statement was discovered and published all over Twitter, people responded with outrage.

“Hamas acted with a savagery that can only be described as evil. But these students are so steeped in hate for Israel, they they are cheering on terrorists and denouncing the victims,” one Twitter user wrote.

Yael Bar tur, an Israeli woman who currently lives in the United States, also responded to the students’ statement.

“This is the final crack in my broken heart – a joint statement from @Harvard students. I could be sitting in class with these students, watching children brutally murdered, raped, kidnapped and their mutated bodies torn apart by a jeering crowd – and hear why it’s justified,” she wrote.

Princeton University professor Robert George also criticized the horrific response to the recent tragedy.

“31–yes 31–Harvard organizations have declared that the murders, rapes, kidnappings and other atrocities committed by Hamas against innocent people are in no way the fault of Hamas, but are rather entirely the fault of… Israel. Something is deeply, deeply wrong in academia,” he wrote.

Guy Benson of Fox News said that the students are “degenerates.”

“Deeply sick. Look at the groups listed. Contemptible degenerates proudly flaunting their bigotry & siding with terrorists over innocent victims,” he wrote.

Journalist Erielle Davidson called Harvard an “embarrassment.”

“Imagine being a Jewish student and sitting next to someone who describes the rape of your people and the kidnapping of your children as justified ‘resistance.’ @Harvard, you are an embarrassment,” she wrote.

After receiving a furious response from people and witnessing conservative media constantly highlighting once again that Harvard is a Marxist indoctrination center that trains its students to be the supporters of terrorists, the university released a watered-down statement to save its reputation without angering the activist students, for which they were only mocked by the people online.

Aside from the Harvard students, young activists at Columbia also released a similar statement, in which they blamed the victims.

“Students at @Columbia have signed a statement somehow even worse than the @Harvard one,” the Twitter user who posted the screenshots of the statement said.

White House Liar Claims Biden in Israel Meetings Instead of Special Counsel Interview

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A White House propagandist has come under scrutiny for misleading the public about President Joe Biden’s activities over the weekend.

Andrew Bates, the White House propagandist, claimed on Monday that Biden was busy “analyzing Israel” while in reality, the president was being deposed by Special Counsel Robert Hur regarding the mishandling of classified documents during his tenure as vice president.

Responding to a Fox News tweet that suggested Biden had halted his duties on Monday, Bates took to Twitter to assert, “For those unfamiliar, a ‘lid’ is just a courtesy announcement to reporters that they should not expect public events.”  He continued, “On the contrary, he’s working to support Israel all day.”

However, media reports promptly contradicted this claims, unveiling that Biden was, in fact, facing questions from the Department of Justice’s Robert Hur.

Another White House spokesperson described the deposition as “voluntary.”

White House spokesman Ian Sams specifically claimed, “The voluntary interview was conducted at the White House over two days, Sunday and Monday, and concluded Monday.”

The investigation led by Hur centers around the discovery of classified documents at Biden’s residence and office after he left his role as vice president in the Obama administration.

“This appointment underscores for the public the Department’s commitment to both independence and accountability in particularly sensitive matters, and to making decisions indisputably guided only by the facts and the law,” Garland explained in January 2023.

Comparisons have arisen with former President Donald Trump, who also faces legal scrutiny over classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago estate. However, unlike Trump, Biden did not possess the authority to declassify documents at will.

Inexplicably, the National Archives Administration’s lack of concern regarding the classified documents, which were discovered nearly six years after Biden’s departure from the Obama White House, has raised questions about their own mishandling of sensitive materials.

Biden Hosts White House BBQ While Americans, Israelis Killed, Kidnapped by Terrorists

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Joe Biden has provoked outrage after he hosted a barbecue and concert in the White House Rose Garden on Sunday, while Americans and Israelis were killed and kidnapped during Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.

In addition to innocent Israelis who were killed and kidnapped, it was also reported that many Americans have been taken hostage, Slay News reported. It was also confirmed on Sunday that at least four Americans were killed in the Hamas terror attacks and seven Americans were reported missing in Israel.

Both Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog and Israel’s Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer confirmed that several Americans were taken hostage in Gaza.

While that was happening, Biden hosted a barbecue at the White House, calling a lid for the day at 11:34 a.m. on Sunday.

It was revealed by a White House pool report that Biden was entertaining his “Executive Residence Staff and their families” in the Rose Garden on Sunday afternoon.

“The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence Staff and their families,” the White House said.

People on Twitter responded to that with outrage.

“This is f***ing infuriating. Americans are dead and being held hostage. Biden went to a BBQ and Blinken is begging Turkey to tell Israel to stand down. I’ve never seen anything like this. Ever,” a political commentator Stephen L. Miller wrote.

Political strategist Joey Mannarino also responded to Biden’s action.

“At least FOUR Americans are presumed dead in Israel and Joe Biden is too busy having a BBQ party at the White House to care. This guy is truly sick,” he wrote.

Political consultant Steve Guest reminded people that “history repeats itself.”

“As the expression goes, Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Joe Biden is LITERALLY attending a BBQ and listening to a live band play while Israel burns due to Hamas terrorist attacks. History repeating itself,” he wrote.

Libs of TikTok also had something to say about Biden’s actions.

“While Americans are currently being held hostage by Hamas terrorists, Biden decided to spend his evening throwing a party at the White House. Absolutely despicable,” Chaya Raichik, the woman behind the account, wrote.

Twitter personality Amiri King also provided his feedback.

“Israeli citizens are being raped, tortured and slaughtered, less than one month after Biden released more than $6b in funds to Iran in a prisoner swap on the anniversary of 9-11. What does Biden do? Biden says f*** it, calls a lid before noon, and throws a barbecue with live music in the Rose Garden,” he wrote.

Blinken Faces Backlash and Deletes Pro-Hamas Tweet, Echoing Socialist Squad

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Embattled Secretary of State Antony Blinken faced swift backlash and subsequently deleted a controversial tweet in which he downplayed Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel.

In the now-removed post, Blinken called for a “cease-fire” between Hamas and Israel, drawing criticism for seemingly disregarding the gravity of Hamas’s initial assault and the ongoing hostage situation.

“Turkish Foreign Minister @HakanFidan and I spoke further on Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel. I encouraged Türkiye’s advocacy for a cease-fire and the release of all hostages held by Hamas immediately,” Blinken’s deleted tweet read, as reported by the New York Post on Monday.

The tweet ignited outrage, with critics arguing that Blinken’s use of the term “cease-fire” minimized Israel’s right to self-defense against the terrorist attacks launched by Hamas

The secretary of state’s remarks came in the wake of the U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs (OPA) briefly posting — and then deleting — a similar call for a halt in Israel’s response.

“We unequivocally condemn the attack of Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing,” the OPA said on Twitter.

As tensions in the region escalated, Blinken also faced scrutiny for his remarks regarding Iran’s involvement in the Hamas attacks. In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday, Blinken said there was no evidence tying the two Islamist groups.

“We have not yet seen evidence that Iran directed or was behind this particular attack, but there is certainly a long relationship,” Blinken claimed.  However, the Wall Street Journal later published a report confirming Iran’s involvement in the attack, which had resulted in the kidnapping of several Israeli citizens.

Members of the socialist “Squad,” including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib found themselves at the center of the controversy as well. They too called for a cease-fire, which starkly contrasted with their previous reluctance to support Israel’s defense systems against Hamas, the authority in the Gaza Strip.

“I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms,” AOC remarked on Oct. 8. “No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region. An immediate ceasefire and de-escalation is urgently needed to save lives.”

However, AOC’s recent call for a cease-fire raised questions, especially given her 2021 vote, when she was one of only two lawmakers to vote “present” on a bill funding Israel’s Iron Dome Aerial Defense System—a vital safeguard against Hamas’s offensive missiles.

U.S. Gives More than $4B for LGBT Initiatives All Around the World

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that the U.S. government has been giving away $4.1 billion in federal money from taxpayers for the past three fiscal years to LGBT initiatives both in the United States and foreign countries.

After reviewing a federal spending website, the investigation by the Epoch Times concluded that the American government issued more than 1,100 grants from Oct. 1, 2020, through Sept. 30, 2023, to fund LGBT-promoting projects all around the world.

The news source also interviewed an oil worker-turned-anonymous investigator behind the Twitter account titled Randoland.us who has been tracking how the federal government spends money on grants related to “gender” ideology.

“If you search for grants from the [U.S.] Department of Education with the word ‘equity‘ in them, it’ll blow your mind how much money is being spent just on equity-aligned initiatives,” he said, adding that he thinks that the government wasted about $240 million on these initiatives.

Aside from the initiatives that are located in the United States, like the LGBT Life Center in Norfolk, Va., many initiatives weren’t even inside the U.S. Among the countries where these initiatives were located were Serbia, Armenia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Ukraine, the Philippines, Iran, China, Belarus and Ireland.

Additionally, the National Endowment for the Humanities donated nearly $350,000 in 2023 to translate the Homosaurus — a thesaurus of LGBT terms — into Spanish.

Aside from defining sexual terms such as “anonymous sex,” “aromantic porn films,” “pederasts,” “children’s sexuality” and “gay children,” the Homosaurus website also normalized pedophilia by reclassifying “ephebophilia” and “hebephilia,” the Greek words that mean sexual attraction to minors, as “fetishes.”

The U.S. government also gave money to LGBT grants at American educational institutions, among which was Emory University which received almost $3.5 million to study “the rectal mucosal effects of cross-sex hormone therapy among U.S. and Thai transgender women.”

The DOE also gave $1.4 million to Boston College so that the institution would promote gay-straight alliance clubs in Massachusetts middle and high schools.

The San Diego Community College District also received $1.2 million from the DEO to have “LGBTQIA+ pride centers.”

He’s Back: McCarthy Hints at Second Speakership Bid

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., has positioned himself to make a potential return to the speakership, days after he pledged not to seek the office following his embarrassing ousting.

“Whatever the conference wants, I will do,” McCarthy said in an interview with Hugh Hewitt about potentially running for speaker again. He further doubled down on these remarks while at a news conference about the Israel-Hamas war.

McCarthy’s remarks come after he promised not to run again during a press conference following his Oct. 4 expulsion. “I will not run for Speaker again,” McCarthy said on Oct. 4.

He added, “I will have the conference pick somebody else. I hope you realize that every day I did the job regardless of whether you underestimated me or not, I wanted to do it with a smile.”

So far, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., have announced their bid to become House speaker. But as reported by the Washington Post on Monday, Republicans warned that neither candidate can get enough votes to achieve victory, with some of them rallying behind McCarthy.

“It is abundantly clear that McCarthy is unwavering in his commitment to aid Israel, keep our government open and address the current needs of the American people,” said Rep. John S. Duarte, R-Calif.

Rep. Michael Lawler, R-N.Y., echoed these remarks. “Obviously, anything’s possible in this place. But I think when I have spoken to my colleagues, the vast majority of people are angry. They’re disgusted by what happened,” Lawler stated. “As I said, it is the single most destructive thing I’ve ever seen in politics. And it doesn’t even make sense.”

McCarthy was rumored to quit from office following his expulsion from the speakership.

“I’m not resigning. I’ve got a lot more work to do so,” McCarthy told reporters outside his office on Oct. 6. When pressed on whether he would stay for his full term, he added, “I’m staying so don’t worry.”

Hamas Threatens to Kill Estimated 150 Hostages, ‘Likely’ Including Americans

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hamas terrorists have issued a dire threat to kill hostages, including potentially American citizens, as Israel enforces a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip.

This gut-wrenching pledge comes on the heels of an unprecedented terrorist attack initiated by Hamas, resulting in a staggering death toll of over 800, including 11 individuals likely to be Americans. The extremist group has specifically promised to carry out a bombing campaign that could claim the lives of approximately 150 civilians.

President Joe Biden confirmed that Hamas is likely holding U.S. citizens hostages. “We also know that American citizens still remain unaccounted for, and we are working with Israeli officials to obtain more information as to their whereabouts,” Biden stated, according to the New York Post. “While we are still working to confirm, we believe it is likely that American citizens may be among those being held by Hamas.”

The conflict between Hamas and Israel escalated on Saturday morning when Hamas launched a violent offensive against Israeli southern cities, leading to the abduction of several Israeli citizens. In a shocking display of brutality, they paraded the half-naked body of a German citizen who had been attending a peace music festival near the border.

Hamas militant spokesman Abu Obeida issued a disturbing ultimatum, stating “We announce that every targeting of our people who are safe in their homes without warning, we will regretfully meet with the execution of our enemy’s civilian hostages.” He further added that these executions would be documented and shared through audio and video recordings.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the initial attacks and issued a stern warning. “It was a terrible mistake to attack Israel,” Netanyahu stated. “This bitter enemy wanted war, and he will get war,” he added, before warning that the attacks against Hamas are just getting started.

Echoing Netanyahu’s sentiments, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a complete blockade against Hamas. “I ordered a full siege on the Gaza Strip. No power, no food, no gas; everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we act accordingly,” Gallant added.

The toll of this conflict is staggering, with approximately 687 Palestinians killed and over 3,726 injured. Meanwhile, in Israel, more than 2,600 individuals have been wounded.

Pentagon Pledges Support for Israel as U.S. Death Toll Rises to 11… But There’s a Catch

(Headline USA) The U.S. has already begun delivering critically needed munitions and military equipment to Israel, and the Pentagon is reviewing inventories to see what else can be sent quickly to boost its ally in the three-day-old war with Hamas, a senior Defense Department official said Monday.

Planes have already taken off, said the official, who declined to provide details on the weapons.

The official, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive shipments, also warned that the U.S. is closely watching Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed groups, noting that the decision to shift American ships in the region was to deter any of them from entering or expanding the conflict against Israel.

The White House recently approved the unfreezing of $6 billion dollars to Iran for “humanitarian” purposes, which likely will be used in support of funding additional acts of terrorism. It also allowed the release of six former prisoners who may have been linked to espionage involving nuclear secrets or other sensitive military information.

The weapons movement came as President Joe Biden announced that the U.S. death toll in the war has gone up to 11 with additional reports that Americans were “likely” among the estimated 150 hostages taken by the craven terrorists to use as human shields in the hopes of deterring retaliatory airstrikes.

The Pentagon official said the U.S. is “flooding the zone” with calls and other messages so that terrorist groups and hostile nations know they should not question America’s commitment to supporting the defense of Israel. The official, however, would not comment on whether U.S. military forces would be used at all.

Doing so would risk a potential global conflict involving multiple nuclear powers given Iran’s recent alliances with geopolitical rivals like Russia and China as part of the BRICS treaty. It also would put a severe pinch on America’s energy supply, as it is likely to do regardless.

America’s weakened global standing following the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan has paved the way for an ascendant China to become the No. 1 threat to global security, and it has allowed Iran to re-establish its own position as the dominant force in the Middle East, eradicating the diplomatic inroads that former President Donald Trump had made under the Abraham Accords in bringing long-sought peace to Israel with nations like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, America’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine has drastically depleted its weapons supply, while the Biden administration’s woke policies and vaccine mandates have severely undercut military recruitment in every branch of the Armed Services except for the Marine Corps.

While the Pentagon official claimed the U.S. has the ability to support weapons needs in Ukraine and Israel and maintain security for America, the rapid delivery of munitions to the new war has raised concerns.

Congress must pass more funding quickly for the U.S. to be able to give both Israel and Ukraine the weapons and munitions they both now need, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said Monday.

“The intent is to lean forward in support of Israel,” she said. “But in particular with munitions and the ability to support Israel and Ukraine simultaneously, additional funding is needed to increase our capacity to expand production and then also pay for the munitions themselves.”

There has been a growing reluctance to support the Ukraine war effort, given the country has seen little progress and much of the money appears to have been funneled to its corrupt oligarchs instead of its military.

The Biden administration’s attempt to lump the two together—given the atrocities committed on American citizens and less ambiguous interest in supporting Israel’s defense—may create a complicated political minefield in Washington as Congress struggles to earmark military funding for one but not the other.

It is clear the administration is now facing potentially competing requests from Israel and Ukraine for additional weaponry. And while there is strong bipartisan support in Congress for aid to Israel, the next steps are uncertain, with the House lacking a leader after the ouster of the Republican speaker and the Senate out of town until next week.

Wormuth, speaking at the annual Association of the United States Army conference in Washington, said the administration is still “in the early stage of the process of evaluating our ability to support what the IDF needs,” referring to the Israel Defense Forces.

She did not provide details, but Doug Bush, the Army’s assistant secretary for acquisition, told reporters at the conference that conversations are underway about what the U.S. can provide. He said it likely will be a wide range of equipment, from small arms to sophisticated munitions.

Most of the weaponry sent already to help Ukraine has come from Army stocks and defense contractors at a rate that has challenged the global supply chain, and while the Army has recently ramped up production of some critical lines, such as 155 mm ammunition for howitzers, they are not yet at full speed.

With a new ground offensive in Gaza imminent following the Saturday surprise attack by Hamas, Army officials said Monday they were concerned about the ability to meet additional demand for ground munitions and that Congress needed to act quickly to provide help in time.

In addition to the 11 American citizens whose deaths Biden confirmed, an undetermined number of remain unaccounted for. It was not yet clear if the missing are dead, in hiding, or had been taken hostage.

Biden said the U.S. believes it is likely that American citizens may be among those being held hostage by Hamas, but officials are working to confirm that.

“I have directed my team to work with their Israeli counterparts on every aspect of the hostage crisis, including sharing intelligence and deploying experts from across the United States government to consult with and advise Israeli counterparts on hostage recovery efforts,” Biden said in a statement.

The attack by Hamas has left at least 900 Israelis dead, including more than 250 from an outdoor music festival celebrating peace that the terrorist organization ambushed on Saturday.

In the aftermath of the Hamas attack, the White House has asked Senate leaders to fast track confirmation of President Joe Biden’s nominee to be the next ambassador to Israel, former Obama-era Treasury Secretary and White House chief of staff Jack Lew, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to comment publicly and requested anonymity.

The White House has received assurances that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will push forward hearings for Lew, the official added.

The U.S. is currently without an ambassador after the departure of Ambassador Tom Nides in July. Biden nominated Lew in September.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Sunday he has ordered the Ford carrier strike group to sail to the Eastern Mediterranean to be ready to assist Israel.

The USS Gerald R. Ford, the Navy’s newest and most advanced aircraft carrier, and its approximately 5,000 sailors and deck of warplanes will be accompanied by cruisers and destroyers in a show of force that is meant to be ready to respond to anything, from possibly interdicting additional weapons from reaching Hamas and conducting surveillance.

The senior Defense Department official said worries about Hezbollah opening a second front of violence against Israel was the main reason for moving the ships to the Eastern Mediterranean. The official said the U.S. is deeply concerned Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed groups will make the wrong decision to try to “pile on” and widen the war.

Along with the Ford, the U.S. is sending the cruiser USS Normandy and destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney, and USS Roosevelt, and the U.S. is augmenting Air Force F-35, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter aircraft squadrons in the region.

The Norfolk, Virginia-based carrier strike group already was in the Mediterranean. Last week it was conducting naval exercises with Italy in the Ionian Sea. The carrier is in its first full deployment.

Senior officials from the Pentagon and State Department briefed senators Sunday night, and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said they were assured that the United States was giving Israel “everything they need.”

Political Scion RFK Jr. Formally Announces Split from Democratic Party

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. formally announced Monday he would run for president in 2024 as an independent, confirming the widely circulated rumor first reported in late September.

RFK Jr., who was previously running for the Democratic nomination before Monday’s announcement, has grown in popularity through his online presence attacking both typically Democratic and Republican positions in the U.S.

Kennedy—the namesake son of the assassinated 1968 presidential candidate and nephew of assassinated President John F. Kennedy—took off in notoriety for his outspoken criticism of COVID-19 policies and the COVID vaccine.

“People stop me everywhere, at hotels, at the airport, on the street, and they remind me that this country is ready for a history-making change,” he said during his announcement speech at Independence Mall in Philadelphia. “They are ready to reclaim their freedom, their independence.”

The site of Kennedy’s announcement not only was symbolic for its connection to America’s independence—as the meeting place of the Founding Fathers—but last year was the backdrop for one of America’s darkest and most foreboding speeches, President Joe Biden’s notorious “red rally.”

Biden’s taxpayer-subsidized campaign event ahead of the 2022 midterm elections drew comparisons to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany and underscored the dramatic transformation of the Democratic Party from the classical liberalism of the “Camelot” era of Kennedy’s famous father and uncle to a more authoritarian form of militant Marxism.

While some have speculated that he might do more harm than good by drawing away supporters of former President Donald Trump instead of the Democratic nominee in the 2024 race, Kennedy reminded would-be voters that his platform was still firmly entrenched in left-wing priorities that, while not deliberately driving the country to ruin as Biden has done, would do little to repair the damage.

He pointed to a litany of problems facing the U.S., including suicide, mental health issues, infrastructure problems, chronic disease, political corruption and wealth inequality. He argued that people are tired of the traditional system, which has not solved those problems, and are ready for a change.

“I’m here to join you for making a new declaration of independence for our entire nation,” Kennedy said.

“We declare independence from the corporations that have hijacked our government, and we declare independence from Wall Street, from Big Tech, from Big Pharma, from Big Ag, from the military contractors, and their lobbyists,” he continued. “And we declare independence from the mercenary media that is here to fortify all of the corporate orthodoxies from their advertisers and to urge us to hate our neighbors and to fear our friends.”

RFK Jr. went on to call out the “cynical elites” and the two-party political party system.

“And finally, we declare independence from the two political parties and the corrupt interests that dominate them and the entire rigged system, of anger, of rage, of corruption, of lies that has turned government officials into indentured servants for their corporate bosses,” RFK Jr. said.

Immediately, RFK Jr. came under fire from Republican leadership.

“Make no mistake—a Democrat in Independent’s clothing is still a Democrat,” Ronna McDaniel, chair of the Republican National Committee, said in a statement. “RFK Jr. cannot hide from his record of endorsing Hillary, supporting the Green New Deal, fighting against the Keystone Pipeline, and praising AOC’s tax hikes—he is your typical elitist liberal and voters won’t be fooled.”

As the Center Square previously reported, Gallup polling released earlier this month showed that 63% of surveyed Americans say both the Democratic and Republican parties do a “poor job” and that a third political party is needed.

Both Democrats and Republicans have increased their support for the idea of a third party, which typically falls below the 50% mark.

“However, this year’s poll shows 58% of Republicans endorsing a third U.S. political party, up from 45% a year ago,” Gallup said.

“The only other time more Republicans than now expressed support for a third party was in a late January/early February 2021 conducted after the Jan. 6 riots, the second impeachment of Donald Trump, and the presidential inauguration of Joe Biden,” it continued. “There has also been an uptick in support for a third party among Democrats this year, from 40% to 46%, though still less than a majority back the idea,” Gallup added.

Harvard Conspiracist Larry Tribe Retracts Tweets Blaming Bibi for Hamas Terrorism

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Harvard Law conspiracy theorist Laurence Tribe appeared to brush off the brutal rape and torture of women, kidnapping of children for hostages, and murder of entire families by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas over the weekend—in a barbaric spree that left at least 700 Israelis and nine Americans dead—by implying that it may have been crisis actors.

Tribe—the mentor of leftist radicals including former President Barack Obama—was forced to delete a tweet thread suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was using the Hamas attacks to hide the corruption within his own regime, Fox News reported.

“Is Netanyahu wagging the dog of war to take attention away from his own war on the independent judiciary?” Tribe asked. “Can anyone put that past him?”

The term “wagging the dog” can be used to refer to a “superfluous (military) action in order to distract from domestic scandal,” a reference to a 1997 political comedy, which borrowed the phrase from an earlier idiom, according to Merriam–Webster.

Tribe was slammed by critics, including investigative reporter Julie Kelly, who suggested he might be in need of some deprogramming to assist with his self-loathing anti-Semitism.

Conservative pundit Dave Rubin, however, refused to allow the 81-year-old academic to use his declining mental faculties as an excuse.

Actor Matthew Marsden was equally blunt in his assessment, suggesting the issue was not with Tribe’s intelligence but his moral compass.

Even well known left-wingers weighed in, such as former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, who criticized the posts as “moronic and indefensible.”

He claimed that he had posted his comment before seeing the full scope of what was going on in Israel.

“I sent the tweet in response to Netanyahu’s reported comments [declaring war] before I saw the news of what Hamas had actually done, at which point I immediately deleted the tweet as a clearly premature, ill-informed and inappropriate response to incomplete information.”

He also said that he condemned “Hamas’s terrorist attacks and unthinkable atrocities against the Israeli people, including the murder and abduction of civilians, in the strongest possible terms” and pledged to “support Israel’s right of self-defense.”

While many would assume that a renowned professor at one of the world’s pre-eminent law schools and a top legal scholar with considerable influence over the policy positions a major American political party might be more measured in his public statements, this is not the first time Tribe has had to delete potentially problematic tweets.

In February 2022, he libelously accused then Fox News host Tucker Carlson of committing treason for questioning U.S. support for the war in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of the country.

“Led by Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson, the GOP’s Trump wing appears to be throwing its weight behind Putin,” Tribe wrote. “If Putin opts to wage war on our ally, Ukraine, such ‘aid and comfort’ to an ‘enemy’ would appear to become ‘treason’ as defined by Article III of the U.S. Constitution.”
