(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) The most recent poster boy for D.C. scandal, embattled Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., is either a hypocritical, dangerously-reckless time bomb of self-destruction, or he has serious enemies with deep pockets, deeper sources for op-research, and a driving desire to see the outspoken, Trump-backed Republican crash and burn.
Graphic new video of Cawthorn that surfaced Wednesday “appears to show the conservative congressman in the nude, making thrusting motions near the face of another man,” reported the leftist Huff Post.

Cawthorn, as he has previously, repeatedly and much to the likely consternation of his comms team, claimed the video was the latest attempt by leftists, a corporate media and the D.C. establishment to sabotage his campaign and political career.
They’re getting plenty of fodder from Cawthorn, who only recently was hit with the release of photos showing him cavorting in lingerie, which came on the heels of an ethics complaint after video showed him getting his crotch grabbed by a male on his staff, raising questions about the lawmaker’s relationship with someone on his congressional payroll.
Luke Ball, a spokesperson for Cawthorn, brushed off the complaint, saying the person was a cousin of the congressman, reported the Washington Times.
Cawthorn was roasted from both sides of the political aisle when a tape from a podcast dropped with him describing D.C. as a cesspool of drug-fueled orgies that included some of his GOP colleagues.
In between all that, Cawthorn managed to make headlines with allegations of insider trading for using undisclosed information to pump-and-dump a LGBCoin cryptocurrency, which surfaced at the same time his second gun charge at an airport was reported.
“A new hit against me just dropped,” Cawthorn tweeted in response to the latest video release.
The disturbing, nearly 30-second clip shows “what appears to be a nude Cawthorn in a bed thrusting with his groin near the head of an unidentified person,” according to Huff Post. “A male voice can be heard saying, ‘Oh ma yah yah oh’ repeatedly. A male voice can also be heard laughing and saying, ‘stick it in his face.’”

Cawthorn can claim at least one win, which has all but been buried in the salacious and damaging headlines, when he fought back a Marc Elias-orchestrated lawfare attack to keep him off the ballot for alleged insurrection and rebellion for his part in a peaceful J6 rally.
With hits shelling his campaign from all fronts, and a string of self-inflicted damage added to the mix, it’s questionable how much weight his being on that ballot still carries.
