Musk Calls Out Twitter for Allowing Death Threats to Libs of TikTok

'I have now received about a dozen death threats after radical leftists accused me of being a domestic terrorist extremist... '

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Elon Musk called out Twitter for allowing death threats against a popular right-wing account that has drawn widespread acclaim for its mocking and exposure of rad-left hypocrisy.

Libs of TikTok, which exposes the leftists’ narrative just by reposting videos from TikTok, tweeted on Jun. 13 to the FBI claiming that someone threatened the platform’s manager with a pipe bomb for “literally supporting [Nazi] bigots,” reported the Daily Wire.

Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald responded to the tweet by referencing a hit piece on the account of far-left blogger Taylor Lorenz at The Washington Post.

“This is what it’s like to be a woman on the internet who got doxed by a newspaper owned by the world’s richest man: actual death threats and encouragement of suicide,” Greenwald wrote.

“Since liberal outlets only care when this happens to rich, famous national journalists, they’ll ignore this.”

Libs of TikTok later responded to Greenwald.

“Exactly,” she said. “And I received about another 5 death threats in addition to this since yesterday.”

She then updated her information on the number of death threats she received.

“I have now received about a dozen death threats after radical leftists accused me of being a domestic terrorist extremist,” she said. “Twitter has not removed any of the accounts of those who sent the threats.”

Musk responded with a simple, but powerful two-word comment.

“Why? @Twitter.”

Even before he bought Twitter for $44 billion, Musk has been concerned about the censorship of conservatives on the platform, particularly a story by the New York Post about Hunter Biden’s laptop that was published before the 2020 election.

Saagar Enjeti, a political commentator, wrote on Twitter that “the top censorship advocate at Twitter” who is responsible for banning New York Post from the platform was very upset about Musk’s takeover, according to The Daily Wire.

“Vijaya Gadde, the top censorship advocate at Twitter who famously gaslit the world on Joe Rogan’s podcast and censored the Hunter Biden laptop story, is very upset about the @elonmusk takeover,” he said.

Musk responded by saying that it was inappropriate to suspend New York Post because they published the article.

“Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate,” he said.
