Media Fears Coverage of Whitmer FBI Hoax May Topple J6 Narrative

'It is impossible to report on the Whitmer case without connecting it to January 6... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USAThe Department of Justice‘s investigation into the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is falling apart, and the national media doesn’t want you to know.

It wasn’t so long ago that reporters, following the FBI’s lead, were trumpeting the “domestic extremist” family ties between the kidnapping “plot” and the Jan. 6 riots.

But the Left is now worried that revelations regarding the outsize role the FBI played in the “Whitmer kidnapping hoax” will “bolster suspicions that the FBI played a key if not primary role in the events leading up to, and including, January 6,” reported American Greatness.

Not only were undercover FBI agents and informants heavily involved in the recruitment and planning phases of the operation, but several have since been disciplined for scandalous behavior.

Just three weeks ago, BuzzFeed News reported that “a key FBI informant in the Michigan kidnapping case has been charged with fraud.”

While in the FBI’s employ, Stephen Robeson allegedly defrauded “a couple out of an SUV by convincing them to donate it to an anti–child sex trafficking charity that did not exist,” BuzzFeed reported.

The FBI has since claimed that Robeson was a “double agent often working against the interests of the government.”

Furthermore, as Kelly and Darren Beattie of Revolver have already reported, the agent in charge of the FBI’s Detroit office during the Whitmer investigation was immediately promoted to the field office in Washington D.C., just in time to prepare for J6.

Articles informing Americans of these undoubtedly newsworthy developments do not appear in national media organs like New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, or Politico, according to Kelly.

“It is impossible to report on the Whitmer case without connecting it to January 6,” Kelly wrote. “So rather than do its job, the national news media is completely ignoring this sensational story.”
