(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The Daily Wire host and the creator of the “What Is A Woman” documentary, Matt Walsh talked about the culture war against the woke agenda in the interview with Jason Whitlock, according to the Daily Wire.
During the interview, Whitlock asked Walsh if the “good guys” are going to win.
Walsh pointed out that, according to Bible, they will win, but it will take generations to restore the culture because it took generations to ruin it.
“We know scripturally … we’ve already seen the last page of the book so we know ultimately that we win. In the shorter term, I do believe that this [’transgender’] fight [,] in particular, the fight that we talk about in the film, is [winnable],” he said.
“But any fight [for] the culture — if we’re going to win it — is going to take generations because we lost the culture [throughout] generations.”
He also provided an analogy by saying that conservatives right now are like guerilla fighters who need to hide in the woods and come up with operations.
“Right now, we are kind of the guerrilla fighters in a hostile environment,” Walsh said. “We’re kind of the ones in the woods that are having to hide … come up with these little operations, and we got to this point over the course of generations.”
Walsh also said that it is very important to realize that it will be a long fight.
“… we have to be in the fight long-term. If we’re only looking for ‘Here’s my five-step plan and this will all be solved by next Tuesday’ or ‘Here’s a switch that I can flip and everything’s fine…’ then [we’re] not really in the fight,” he said.
“You have to be willing to say to yourself [that] this is a winnable fight, but I’m not going to be around when it’s finally won [.] I’m doing this for my kids and my grandkids.”
